Software development firm is seeking a critical-thinking and problem-solving Backend Developer with PHP experience, deep database, and API knowledge. This is a highly dynamic role and the ideal candidate has the ability to identify problems in advance and identify potential solutions with efficiency and effectiveness. Each solution may result in new problems, so they would all need to be analyzed and assessed to see which would be the most likely to result in a positive outcome. As a developer you will sometimes be faced with several possible implementation methods to achieve the same outcome. Your critical thinking skills will allow you to quickly analyze and test each method mentally, before deciding on the most efficient one.

Responsibilities:
-Thoroughly understand what a client requires, and write code that ensures a server will perform the required function.
-Work on multiple integrations projects with various platforms.
-Manage back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users.
-Development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.
-Integrate the front-end elements built by the frontend developers into the application.

-Strong hands-on backend programming experience.
-Strong knowledge of PHP back-end language.
-Knowledge of database development, including design, creation, administration, and optimization of relational databases.
-You will spend the vast majority of your time solving problems and coming up with creative solutions, so it is very important to possess an appetite for problem-solving and critical thinking.
-The dynamic nature of this role requires you to achieve comfort in discomfort, pragmatism, adaptability, discipline, motivation, and effort.
