Assembler

TempForce has clients looking for Electrical Assemblers . You will be performing electrical assembly in a production environment where you’ll be assembling large and heavy parts to complete subassemblies and drilling rigs using hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment. Candidates must be able to read and understand blue prints, be well organized and able to carry out detailed instructions efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You must have good DC electrical experience such as Automotive or Heavy Equipment. Let us connect you with one of our clients today!

Location: Alachua and Gainesville, FL
Schedule: FT, M-F
Salary: $10 - $14/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform a variety of specialized assembly operations including electrical, welding, and mechanical
- Review specifications to determine assembly and special options
- Check bins for adequate supplies
- Ensures connections for correct fit, parts, and sub-assemblies per specifications
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school or GED preferred
- DC electrical experience such as Automotive or Heavy Equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of basic hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work overtime and shift work as needed
- Standing, walking, climbing, balancing, gripping, grasping, carrying and pushing / pulling required > 90% of the time
- Kneeling, crouching, squatting and twisting required intermittently on a daily-basis
