Buskeros is currently seeking a EVENT PROJECT MANAGER to plan, manage, support and oversee execution of its BuskerosLive events franchise in multiple US Hispanic markets.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
4+ years of event or related experience.
Must have proven experience with project management, an understanding of all aspects of event planning, sponsorship activation, marketing, and coordination of multiple projects within deadlines and within budget.
Demonstrate the capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously to successful conclusion.
Demonstrate experience successfully managing relationships with vendors, donors, and/ or sponsors.
Demonstrate experience to successfully manage and foster relationships with high-profile individuals.
Must demonstrate a track record of collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver on objectives and strategic planning.
Good listener and self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work with minimal hands-on direction
Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing to conduct presentations and meetings
Ability to articulate the mission, objectives and programs of the organization
Basic computer literacy: minimum proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Professional demeanor and attire
High-energy individual who demonstrates confidence, accountability and professionalism while demonstrating personal integrity, resilience, and respect for others
May require local business travel using personal transportation
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary duties and responsibilities are structured under four main areas, but are not limited to the following:
Manages, supports and/or assists specific events and promotions (internal/external)
Manages logistics of the event pre-, during, and post-event (including but not limited to: logistics, safety, security, and liability)
Plans timelines for successful execution of events
Supports with sponsorship and audience acquisition
Leads with speaker recruitment, scheduling and briefing
Works with Marketing and Communications on public relations and social media strategies
Works with design team on themes, visuals, signage, staging and collateral
Prepares or assists in meeting coordination.
Maintains appropriate records across internal and external platforms.
Works closely with other departments to achieve financial and overall development goals
Creates strategic alliances to leverage needed goods, services, and resources for the organization.
