Job Title Manager, Account Management Overview • Responsible for setting sales strategies as it relates to customer accounts that are aligned with geography strategy and achieving sales goals that drive market share, volume and revenue growth. • Leads and manages existing customer relationships, and works to identify opportunities and customer needs in the core business/ new flows/ digital/ • Partners with customers to deliver customized solutions and comprehensive consulting support. • Responsible for pipeline management at the account level. Role • Design, develop and lead the accounts strategies and business by understanding, knowing and anticipating payments industry trends, players, products, technologies, etc., delivering strong commercial execution and partnership with the accounts, leveraging MasterCard´s products & services value proposition to manage account´s pain points at a strategic level, with a short and long term vision, by understanding their competitive advantage, value proposition, strategy and milestones. • Increase MasterCard relevance (share and P&L participation) in the accounts business through negotiations at Senior Management level, setting with them the business strategy in the mid to long term view, understanding and influencing customers’ end-game and roadmap, as well as influencing trends and strategic decision of the accounts. • Increase MasterCard footprint in the accounts by identifying new business opportunities within traditional MasterCard solutions and beyond, negotiating at Senior Management level to obtain approval and sponsorship to develop such opportunities. • Lead cross functional teams (Marketing, Products, Customer Delivery, CIS, Services, etc.) to manage and deliver on transformational projects with mid to long term financial impact, managing, leading and coaching a sales team, including handling responsibilities of administrative processes (SIP, performance review & feedback, etc.). Lead teams on his/her responsibility • Design, develop and manage business solutions for the accounts that will serve to identify and solve the accounts needs through deep understanding of MasterCard value proposition, and by continually challenging MasterCard´s planning, decisions and initiatives. Strengthen internal requests by aggregating cluster accounts needs and opportunities, to provide leverage to and liaison with accounts strategy and vision. • Responsible for cluster accounts P&L performance (business drivers and revenue lines) and profitability (margins), setting forecast and business drivers projections, ensuring accounts performance to meet annual targets, understanding MasterCard financial and administrative processes and policies, but continually challenge internal status-quo in favor of a more customer oriented organization, supporting accounts in selling services through expert level of one or more services tracks (Processing, Fraud, etc.) as well as in depth knowledge of BAU MasterCard solutions/products to ensure commercial execution. • Manage, lead and align sales and functional teams including resources in other geographies to develop an integrated strategy for customers that have regional presence. Lead teams on his responsibility through ensuring performance, development, coaching and growth, tracking and managing the team to make sure they accomplish the objectives and grow within the company. • Active engagement and alignment in the definition and execution of the market transformation strategy ( MasterCard playing a more relevant role in the value chain ) All About You • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. How can you make a difference?

The PSEA Specialist will be based in Caracas, with frequent travel to field offices and states where UNICEF programmes are being implemented. The PSEA Specialist will have a dual reporting line, they will report to the Representative (Direct Supervisor) and the Chief Field Operations (Technical Supervisor). Within the context of the emergency response and the Interagency/ UNICEF PSEA framework, the PSEA Specialist will implement UNICEF Venezuela's PSEA Action Plan, which focuses on scaling up and taking forward UNICEF's prevention and response efforts to sexual exploitation and abuse. This will include conceptualizing and implementing PSEA prevention activities, responding to alleged PSEA cases that are reported (including strengthening complaint mechanisms at the community level, reporting, investigating, and ensuring appropriate survivor support), liaising with the PSEA Network(s) and other inter-agency bodies addressing PSEA and making contributions to inter-agency PSEA response and monitoring, liaising with UNICEF senior management at national, regional and international levels on the same. The PSEA Specialist will be also responsible for building the capacity of UNICEF staff, consultants, volunteers, and implementing partners on PSEA.

Internal capacity building and technical support

  • Provide leadership, technical support and monitoring for the implementation of UNICEF Venezuela Country Office PSEA Action Plan,
  • Deliver PSEA and Child Safeguarding trainings for UNICEF staff, consultants, volunteers, and implementing partners, in line with the PSEA Training Plan.
  • Build the capacity of selected UNICEF staff to replicate PSEA and Child Safeguarding trainings and awareness raising efforts.
  • Support knowledge management efforts on PSEA, including a repository of tools, documentation of promising practices, etc...
  • Together with C4D, and in liaison with the PSEA inter-agency Network, develop awareness raising materials for UNICEF office and partners, including leaflets and posters for UNICEF offices and UNICEF partners' offices including communities.
  • Develop an internal tracking tools to ensure regular and consistent monitoring of SEA cases and case management of child victims' assistance.
  • Supporting the VCO to institutionalize PSEA efforts within their programmes, monitoring and facilities (e.g. HACT, supply section, programme component teams, etc.)
  • Support MCO to expand/strengthen communities' access to safe and accessible reporting channels across programmes/sections
  • In collaboration with UNICEF sections, support partners to ensure PSEA policies and structures are aligned with standards and requirements as per UNICEF PSEA Implementing Partners Procedures and the UN Protocol.
  • Inter-agency response to SEA and PSEA Network coordination

  • Actively participate and contribute to the PSEA Network coordination meetings and events at national and support sub-national level coordination, as well as working with the PSEA Network in taking forward actions including:
  • Develop information sharing/messaging strategies on SEA across network members;
  • Develop and implement a Community Based Complaints Mechanism on SEA, building upon existing community-based complaint mechanisms as relevant. Develop 1) about outreach and sensitization on SEA in communities; and 2) training of PSEA focal points. Suggestion to dissociate as needs be.
  • Ensure systems procedures for inter-agency referrals are functionals and effective, including accountability mechanisms and development of joint interagency responses in relation to SEA risks and concerns
  • Support to PSEA risk assessment as per HCT PSEA Action Plan;
  • Support the roll out of the Victims Assistance Protocol.
  • Support Appropriate Reporting and Response of SEA allegations

  • Support and advise the Head of Office on the reporting of SEA allegations through the internal Notification Alert
  • Support the internal roll out and implementation of UNICEF SEA reporting procedures
  • Provide technical support to partners to strengthen internal reporting procedures once a complaint is received:
  • Ensure that all information pertaining to complaints is handled and referred strictly in line with agreed protocols: the internal UNICEF Notification Alert and inter-agency information sharing procedure agreed with the PSEA Task Force
  • Immediately refer survivors to appropriate service providers so that they receive the medical, psychosocial, legal and any other assistance support they may need, in line with the victims' assistance protocol.
  • Prevention

  • Collaborate and coordinate with partners and UNICEF sections to ensure sensitization activities on SEA are implemented across communities, and establish systems to track and monitor implementation;
  • Collaborate and coordinate with partners and UNICEF sections to ensure systematic SEA risk assessment is conducted and findings are reflected and included in programme implementation.
  • Survivor/ Victim support assistance

  • In coordination with the Chief Child Protection:
  • Ensure that survivors of SEA access assistance and support
  • Monitor the quality of assistance and follow up provided to victims of SEA by UNICEF partners
  • Review functionality and effectiveness of GBV and CP referral pathways ? internal and interagency ? and contribute to advocacy to strengthen access to services for survivors.
  • To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have?

  • An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: international development, human rights, psychology, sociology, international law, or another relevant social science field.
    *A first University Degree in a relevant field combined with 2 additional years of professional experience may be accepted in lieu of an Advanced University Degree.
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in design, implementation and management of protection or GBV programming, PSEA and child safeguarding, preferably with the UN and/or international NGO.

  • Experience working in humanitarian contexts. Familiarity with the latest development in PSEA, inter-agency PSEA responses and humanitarian cluster systems.

  • Excellent communication skills. Proven ability to work independently under difficult conditions. Excellent facilitation, training, networking and advocacy skills.     How can you make a difference?

    The Supply and Logistics officer (PS Cold Chain) will support the Cold Chain Acceleration Team (CCAT) in the Venezuela Country office in the implementation of the 'TECHNICAL COOPERATION PROPOSAL TO SUPPORT THE INTRODUCTION AND DEPLOYMENT OF VACCINES AGAINST COVID-19 IN THE BOLIVARIAN REPUBLIC OF VENEZUELA' project (?the project'). The CCAT is co-led by the Chief Health and the Chief Supply & Logistics and the Supply and Logistic Officer (PS Cold Chain) reports to the Chief Supply and Logistics within this task team. The Supply and Logistics officer (PS Cold Chain) provides technical and operational support and is responsible for managing the PS Cold Chain supply chain in as part of the project. The supply chain operations include planning, procurement, contracting, customs clearance, warehousing, in country transport and distribution, as well as monitoring of supplies, services and minor works. The incumbent supports management collaboration with programmes in defining supply interventions to meet programmatic needs and achieve results for children, and provides technical and advisory support to governments, national systems and partners on supply chain management.

    Supply chain service delivery and emergency response with specific focus on the management of the PS Cold Chain requests and transactions

  • In consultation with supervisor, manage the Supply requirements related to the implementation of the PS Cold Chain requests and Cost Estimates. Participate in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the supply chain operations, including establishment of performance indicators, and assessment of fit for purpose of products and services;
  • Monitor progress of the development, coordination and implementation of the Cost Estimates related to the project and suggest course of action in case of bottlenecks;
  • Monitor progress and coordinate the offshore and/or regional procurement and take action to ensure timely customs clearance of supplies entering the country. Maintain appropriate warehousing, inventory management and in-country transport in support of the programme implementation. Keep stakeholders/partners informed on the progress;
  • Undertake and advise on local procurement of goods and services for the project which includes review of Specifications and Terms of Reference, release of related Sales Orders and Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Orders and Contracts;
  • Analyze supply dashboards, implementation rates of key performance indicators and supply information/data from various systems and conduct root cause analysis of supply chain bottlenecks and challenges, with a view to drive improvements and ensure efficient and effective supply chains for children for this project;
  • Build strong working relations with Regional Chiefs of Supply/Regional Chief of Operations, as well as Supply Division, to align with global and regional approaches and initiatives in supply chain management of this project.
  • Collaboration with programme and implementing partners

  • In collaboration with supervisor, develop close collaboration with programme sections through involvement in programme design, planning, and preparation for implementation of supply components as well as monitoring and evaluation.
  • Prepare supply documentation to facilitate input to donor dialogue, and support development of supply components of proposals to donors including budgeting and use of innovative financing mechanisms for supplies and services.
  • Prepare regular updates and reports on the implementation of the PS Cold Chain project.
  • To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have?

  • An advanced university degree is required in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Contract/Commercial Law, International Development, Health or related social science field, or relevant first-level university degree (Bachelor's) in conjunction with a valid relevant professional certification is required.

    *A first level university degree (Bachelor's) in a relevant technical field (as identified above), in conjunction with seven (7) years of relevant work experience in supply, logistics, procurement, contracting, administration and/or other directly related technical field, may be taken in lieu of an advanced university degree.

    Duties and Qualifications

    1.Organizational Setting and Work Relationships

    The primary functions of project control are to complement programme management and provide support for oversight of projects including the formulation of a monitoring plan, quality assurance, and verification. Other activities of project control include: review of project agreements, project audit, monitoring that there is synchrony between financial and operational performance, participation in multi-functional monitoring activities and reviews, tracking project risk management, and supporting project closure.

    It is essential to maintain segregation of duties between project control and programme functions for effective accountability and oversight. Where there is no Project Control Officer, General Service staff performing project control functions should report directly to the Head of Office.

    The Project Control Associate receives general guidance and work plans from the supervisor. They work independently on regular assignments under the supervision of the Project Control Officer or to the same management level as programme. The incumbent may supervise other general service staff.

    Project Control staff play a very important role in maintaining harmonious and effective partnerships, and often interact with implementing partners. As a result, incumbents need to be very mindful of all dimensions of partnerships in their interaction with partners (in accordance with the Principles of Partnership, the Code of Conduct and other relevant documents).


    2.Duties

    -Contribute to reviewing the internal control systems of implementing partners.
    -Contribute to reviewing that IP agreements are in conformity with Country Operation Plans and UNHCR¿s rules, policies and procedures.
    -Monitor that a complete record is maintained for all projects.
    -Contribute to reviewing, analysing and verifying Financial and Performance Implementing Partner Reports (Part I-IPFR and Part II-IPR), and to checking accuracy and consistency between IPFR and IPR, in accordance with project agreements.
    -Ensure that the funds obligated under an IP agreement permit the payment of the next instalment or a disbursement, confirming the status of instalments already paid.
    -Support timely project closure in coordination with the programme unit.
    -Bring to the attention of supervisors and programme officers any significant variances at the office level in: budget execution, percentage of project execution, time schedule, and quality of projects against specifications or terms and conditions.
    -Maintain professional relationships with implementing partners.
    -Keep up to date with all UNHCR rules, regulations and procedures necessary to perform these duties.
    -Escalate IP issues to supervisors.
    -Recommend acceptance or non-acceptance of IPRs and payment of instalments.
    -Contact implementing partners for project related matters.
