REQUIREMENTS



Education
Master’s degree – or equivalent post graduate qualification – in development studies, international relations, political science, economics, social sciences, human rights, law or closely related fields (for otherwise suitably qualified candidates, a first level university degree with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced post graduate university degree).

Work Experience
Minimum 15 years of substantive experience and results in leadership roles at the international level (including five years of cumulative experience in development, human rights, rule of law peace-building or humanitarian work at country level outside of one’s own country).
Previous RC experience is desirable.

Languages
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this position, fluency in English is required. Fluency in Spanish is required.

    Para ello y en zona exclusiva elegida por Ud. que este libre con el propósito de instalar productos innovadores saludables si se dedica 200 puntos de venta o menor o mayor en función de dedicación en un plazo medio de uno a dos años a solo 2-3 clientes semana,, normalmente el margen del distribuidor es de una media de 0,30 de € por consumición y el precio de venta es de una media de 1,5 € al público, una vez se abren los primeros 20, 30 puntos se tiene notoriedad los clientes nos llaman para colocarlo en su local y ya genera una media de 3.000 € mes de beneficio . La media de beneficio neto por cliente abierto mes a un consumo diario de 15 consumiciones es de 100 € mes por línea de producto por 200 clientes da unos ingresos medios muy positivos de 20.000 € mes a mayor solo con un producto o línea. Se arranca con pedido para entrar en 45 clientes y ganar visibilidad en la zona y ingresos ya permanentes de una media de 3.000 € mes.

    Para entrar fácil en locales se dispone de regalos puntuales para facilitar introducción como relojes de alto nivel de regalo con 4 referencias y equipo de masaje profesional completo si entran 6 referencias para entrar rápido y tener la zona creada en tres meses, los obsequios de arranque tienen un valor similar a lo que se adquiere para el arranque de zona que normalmente se realiza mediante financiación bancaria, consiguiendo beneficio desde el primer mes, garantizando la rotación en el punto de venta mensual que se comenta anteriormente o bien el consumo de bebidas calientes o frías y o garantizando que los camareros lo van a recomendar y preocuparse de poner las cartas en las mesas diariamente.

    El negocio no tiene ningún riesgo, ya que se instala sin equipo o con porta capsulas exclusivas o expositor de cartón , si coloca equipos en depósito la inversión se va haciendo progresivamente o se alquila equipo o vende equipo o porta capsulas, de los 200 puntos que consideramos es lo interesante para instalar en 24 meses, en unos instala porta filtros en máquinas de café que ya hay en el establecimiento sin inversión ninguna, en otros equipo de capsulas, o bien el micro molido si ningún equipo, también mixter para romper hielo par hacer , smothies o batidos , también hay muchos productos sin ningún tipo de equipo o bien equipo de dos o tres bebidas para hotel o cocina de empresas o bien equipo de monedas, va haciendo pequeñas instalaciones si coloca el equipo en depósito vende el kilo a 5 € más con mínimo mensual que cubre el coste financiero amortizando el equipo el establecimiento que paga más por kilo, el distribuidor o vende o alquila los equipos si los hay a un precio equivalente a lo que pagaría por banco a 60 meses de 5 a 17 € mes de alquiler más iva, recomendamos, 1º pedido recomendado financiado sale sobre 300 € mes a 60 meses y la recaudación mínima es de 4000 € mes de estos puntos y ya obtiene buenos ingresos desde el inicio primer mes más de 1.500 € de beneficio y consigue visibilidad en la zona(tela de araña comercial) para que los establecimientos lo quieran tener al tenerlo otros esto es fundamental para tener éxito y contra antes se llegue a ello mejor, el punto de equilibrio está en 3 consumiciones al día, por lo que siempre se obtiene beneficio. No obstante si sus recursos son inferiores hay plan de carrera adaptado a sus posibilidades de arranque para entrar.

    Senior Shelter Assistant for the Field Unit in Caracas (FUCA)

    ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT

    The Senior Shelter Assistant will work under direct supervision of the Assistant Protection Officer (FUCA's manager) in technical coordination with the Shelter Cluster, who provides developmental and technical support and regular guidance. The incumbent assists FUCA in the assessment of shelter needs and capacity and monitoring of the implementation project. The Senior Shelter Assistant supports UNHCR efforts during an emergency and assists the Shelter Cluster in ensuring that international Shelter standards are met.

    FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT

    Accountability
    -UNHCR Office has sufficient service support in the field of shelter thus better able to address technical issues related to shelter projects and meet the needs of persons of concern.

    Responsibility
    -Assist in carrying out technical assessments of the unused or unfinished private and public buildings (i.e. private accommodation /houses/apartments) in priority locations that have been identified by the municipalities and /or the Shelter partners.
    -Assist in Site planning of identified potential settlement area, ensuring appropriate standards are adhered to.
    -Assist in production of necessary project documents (Project drawings, BoQ, Technical Specifications, Tendering documents, etc.)
    -Assist office in technical, shelter coordination activities with SEMA / NEMA, Partners and other shelter stake holders.
    -Assist the Shelter Officer in Maiduguri and also implementing partners when necessary on site improvement of informal tented settlements.
    -Assist the Shelter Officer to monitor the implementation of projects under the area of responsibility.
    -Assist in verifying any BoQ, execution plan, including defining the scope of works, technical drawings and specifications for internal analysis.
    -Support supply in the market analysis of locally available construction materials and skills, promoting the use of local capacity as appropriate.
    -Regularly report on work progress of various shelter activities and preparation of SitRep (weekly and monthly).
    -- Perform other related duties as required.

    Authority
    -Liaise with IPs and local authorities on behalf of UNHCR.
    -Participate in monitoring of the implementation of shelter activities.

    ESSENTIAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
    -Completion of secondary school with certificate/training courses in shelter related fields.
    -Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
    -Good knowledge about construction and particularly rehabilitation and conversion of existing buildings. Any specific additional knowledge about electricity work, water and sanitation system will be an asset.
    -Good knowledge of Auto Cad, site surveying and experience in undertaking related topography assessments/ feasibility studies for site identification and environmental impact studies whilst using surveying tools (including GPS equipment, GIS software).
    -Excellent working knowledge of English (written / oral / comprehension).

    DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
    -Knowledge of UNHCR standards and criteria for site selection, as well as issues related to shelter, protection, WASH, environment, land property issues etc. will be an asset.
    -Computer literacy in MS Office and other relevant software to produce digital maps, site plans, layout and technical drawings.     Information Management Assistant for the Field Unit in Caracas

    ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
    The Information Management Assistant assists in the production, collection and dissemination of information on UNHCR population of concern, including but not limited to Protection and Programme/Field information, based on standards and systems developed at Country Office level. The incumbent compiles data on populations of concern and on programmatic activities of UNHCR partners. S/he also supports the Protection Team in operationalizing protection monitoring systems.

    Contacts are mainly with UNHCR colleagues in the same duty station to exchange information and to discuss workplans. External contacts may be with UNHCR partners and - more limitedly - with the Protection Sector partners, in consultation with the Protection Officer and the Assistant Protection Officer.

    FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT
    Accountability
    -The Office has sufficient support to deliver reliable, accessible and user-friendly, relevant, predictable, appropriate and timely information.
    -Common data standards and information management system adopted by UNHCR country operation are followed.

    Responsibility
    -Assist in compiling and aggregating information elements required to produce standardized information products and implement data/information collection plans for baseline and context-specific data and assist producing summary statistics.
    -Assist in the collection of relevant information data from UNHCR Protection and other partners, in coordination with the relevant Units in the Office.
    -Liaise with partners and review relevant data and information produced.
    -Assist UNHCR Protection team in developing and implementing data collection plans and instruments (i.e. needs assessment, response monitoring) for baseline and context-specific information needs.
    -Support and leverage geographic data for map production and use in geographic information systems (GIS).

    ESSENTIAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
    - 1 year relevant experience with High School Diploma; or Bachelor or equivalent or higher in Information Technology, Demography, Statistics, Geographic Information Systems, Information Management, Information Systems or a related field.
    -At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
    -Advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, functions, etc.).
    -Experience with handling confidential data and demonstrated understanding of different data collection methodologies.
    -Fluency in English and working knowledge of another relevant UN language or local language.

    (In offices where the working language is not English, excellent knowledge of UN working language of duty station and working knowledge of English.)

    DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

    SENIOR WASH ASSISTANT / ASISTENTE PRINCIPAL DE AGUA, SANEAMIENTO E HIGIENE (TEMPORAL) - MARACAIBO

    Duties and Qualifications

    Senior WASH Assistant

    ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
    The Senior WASH Assistant works under the supervision of the Head of Field Office in technical coordination with the Shelter Cluster in Caracas. S/he will contribute to the development, guidance and oversight of the implementation of WASH strategies for refugee settlements. The incumbent will support WASH related activities in the refugee settlements working closely with the multi-functional teams including colleagues from protection, health, settlement planning, field and others.

    The Senior WASH Assistant provides technical guidance, works in collaboration with partners and other external stakeholders, reviews ongoing activities and generally contributes to improving WASH service delivery to persons of concern (POC) to adequate levels at each site in accordance with the UNHCR WASH Manual and Technical Guidelines, and applicable UNHCR and/or national standards.

    S/he will follow a rights-based and community focused approach to programme design and implementation. The incumbent will follow the five principles for protection, accountability and WASH as outlined in UNHCR¿s WASH Manual.

    All UNHCR staff members are accountable to perform their duties as reflected in their job description. They do so within their delegated authorities, in line with the regulatory framework of UNHCR which includes the UN Charter, UN Staff Regulations and Rules, UNHCR Policies and Administrative Instructions as well as relevant accountability frameworks. In addition, staff members are required to discharge their responsibilities in a manner consistent with the core, functional, cross-functional and managerial competencies and UNHCR¿s core values of professionalism, integrity and respect for diversity.


    4. Duties

    - Assist in giving technical guidance and support to partners on all WASH-related issues to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, sustainability and environmental sound WASH interventions.
    - Liaise with implementing and operating partners and relevant governmental and non-governmental counterparts as requested.
    - Review regularly the quantity and quality of water and sanitation services offered in the AoR (Area of Responsibility) and maintain the records of WASH performance indicators for all locations.
    - Undertake field verifications, monitor development and support the evaluation of activities and approaches adopted by partners in WASH and related sectors, reporting the results to the supervisor for sharing with other technical units.
    - Build and maintain relationships with other sectors, particularly site planning, health and community service, to locate, plan, implement and monitor WASH activities.
    - Provide requested inputs to ensure that regular and accurate reports that analyse the challenges encountered in providing WASH services for beneficiaries are prepared and circulated.
    - May be called to participate in the preparation of all reports for management, boards, donors, budget reviews, programme analysis, monthly, annual reports etc. in a timely manner.
    - Contribute to providing technical inputs during strategic and operational planning cycles of UNHCR within the AoR.
    - Participate in WASH sector, infrastructure coordination, camp coordination and cross-cutting sector meetings e.g. health, environment, as required by the supervisor.
    - Contribute to or compile documents and reports related to WASH activities and construction under the AoR.
    - Record feedback from UNHCR camp management, field and community services colleagues on issues with water availability, access, quality, sanitation issues, and ensure follow-up.
    - Support the management in provision of WASH facilities required (UNHCR managed and supported areas), including activities such as technical design, cost estimations of technical activities, development of bill of quantities for construction of all associated WASH works, and all operational and maintenance considerations.
    - Provide project management support for UNHCR WASH activities
    - Promote and participate in the establishment of a complaint mechanism/system to improve the WASH accountability.
    - Ensure existence of and follow master and detailed chronograms, reporting to the sector any issue resulting in delays or extra costs.
    - Supervise UNHCR partners' construction and maintenance of WASH in UNHCR managed and supported areas.
    - When called upon, assist in negotiations with local authority counterparts, partners and POC.
    - Provide inputs for country operation¿s plan and other submissions and reports as requested.
    - Monitor WASH activities in the AoR on behalf of UNHCR and make recommendations to the supervisor and the UNHCR management team.
    - Provide data inputs for the WASH monitoring system.
    - Perform other related duties as required.

    5. Minimum Qualifications

    Information Management Assistant

    ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
    The Information Management Assistant assists in the production, collection and dissemination of information on UNHCR population of concern, including but not limited to Protection and Programme/Field information, based on standards and systems developed at Country Office level.     The Senior WASH Assistant provides technical guidance, works in collaboration with partners and other external stakeholders, reviews ongoing activities and generally contributes to improving WASH service delivery to persons of concern (POC) to adequate levels at each site in accordance with the UNHCR WASH Manual and Technical Guidelines, and applicable UNHCR and/or national standards.

    S/he will follow a rights-based and community focused approach to programme design and implementation. The incumbent will follow the five principles for protection, accountability and WASH as outlined in UNHCR¿s WASH Manual.

    All UNHCR staff members are accountable to perform their duties as reflected in their job description. They do so within their delegated authorities, in line with the regulatory framework of UNHCR which includes the UN Charter, UN Staff Regulations and Rules, UNHCR Policies and Administrative Instructions as well as relevant accountability frameworks. In addition, staff members are required to discharge their responsibilities in a manner consistent with the core, functional, cross-functional and managerial competencies and UNHCR¿s core values of professionalism, integrity and respect for diversity.


    4. Duties

    - Assist in giving technical guidance and support to partners on all WASH-related issues to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, sustainability and environmental sound WASH interventions.
    - Liaise with implementing and operating partners and relevant governmental and non-governmental counterparts as requested.
    - Review regularly the quantity and quality of water and sanitation services offered in the AoR (Area of Responsibility) and maintain the records of WASH performance indicators for all locations.
    - Undertake field verifications, monitor development and support the evaluation of activities and approaches adopted by partners in WASH and related sectors, reporting the results to the supervisor for sharing with other technical units.
    - Build and maintain relationships with other sectors, particularly site planning, health and community service, to locate, plan, implement and monitor WASH activities.
    - Provide requested inputs to ensure that regular and accurate reports that analyse the challenges encountered in providing WASH services for beneficiaries are prepared and circulated.
    - May be called to participate in the preparation of all reports for management, boards, donors, budget reviews, programme analysis, monthly, annual reports etc. in a timely manner.
    - Contribute to providing technical inputs during strategic and operational planning cycles of UNHCR within the AoR.
    - Participate in WASH sector, infrastructure coordination, camp coordination and cross-cutting sector meetings e.g. health, environment, as required by the supervisor.
    - Contribute to or compile documents and reports related to WASH activities and construction under the AoR.
    - Record feedback from UNHCR camp management, field and community services colleagues on issues with water availability, access, quality, sanitation issues, and ensure follow-up.
    - Support the management in provision of WASH facilities required (UNHCR managed and supported areas), including activities such as technical design, cost estimations of technical activities, development of bill of quantities for construction of all associated WASH works, and all operational and maintenance considerations.
    - Provide project management support for UNHCR WASH activities
    - Promote and participate in the establishment of a complaint mechanism/system to improve the WASH accountability.
    - Ensure existence of and follow master and detailed chronograms, reporting to the sector any issue resulting in delays or extra costs.
    - Supervise UNHCR partners' construction and maintenance of WASH in UNHCR managed and supported areas.
    - When called upon, assist in negotiations with local authority counterparts, partners and POC.
    - Provide inputs for country operation¿s plan and other submissions and reports as requested.
    - Monitor WASH activities in the AoR on behalf of UNHCR and make recommendations to the supervisor and the UNHCR management team.
    - Provide data inputs for the WASH monitoring system.
    - Perform other related duties as required.

    5. Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge and understanding of relationship between water, wastewater, solid waste and vector control to public health indicators, and value of hygiene promotion/awareness raising and behaviour change methodologies.
