PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The Leadership Management Trainee Operations (LMT-O) Program is a six-month, paid intensive training crafted to equip participants with crucial leadership and industry knowledge for the role of Assistant Trainmaster (ATM).

Successful completion of the program necessitates relocation to a terminal within the CPKC network and dedication to future relocations. The training includes classroom instruction, online training, workshops, projects and on-the-job training. Participants will undergo an 11-week manager conductor training course followed by 12 weeks of infield training where you’ll learn the proficiencies required to safely lead the operations and supervision of yard/ train movement.

This position requires relocation across our network within the U.S.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Quickly learn, retain and use railroad operating systems, applications and local operating plans to assign tasks and handle efficiency within operations teams
  • Complete and pass management train conductor certification and be able to be deployed once qualified and as the business requires - failure to pass the conductor certification will result in removal from the program
  • Achieve minimum requirements on all phases of the LMT-O program including written, and practical evaluations; and deliver all reading, assignments and projects within assigned timelines
  • Effectively lead Train and Engine operating employees acting as safety leader through active observations and discussions about rule compliance and by implementing preventative measures through staff engagement
  • Model the proficiencies of effective leadership: commit to results, lead others, lead thought and lead by example
  • Act critically when prioritizing work and make decisions aligned with CPKC’s values of accountability, diversity and pride as well as the five foundations: operate safely, develop people, control costs, optimize assets and provide service

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be willing to relocate anywhere across CPKC's Canadian network upon graduation and throughout your career
  • Must be able to perform work that can be physically demanding
  • General equivalency diploma or equivalent experience is required, with preference given to those with post-secondary education
  • Must be able to travel for up to 6 months during your initial training program
  • Achieve minimum requirements on all phases of the LMT-O program including written, and practical evaluations; online independent learning, and complete all assignments and projects within assigned timelines
  • Must be able to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays in all weather conditions
  • Must have the ability to speak up and hold people accountable to CPKC’s core safety principles
  • Effective time management skills and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop trust and credibility across the business
  • 2 years’ previous supervisory experience in logistics or an operational environment is helpful
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing task priorities and work situations
  • Valid driver’s license is required
  • Valid U.S. passport: allowing entry/re-entry to Canada required or ability to obtain one within 90 days of starting

Training Program Location

Majority of the training will take place in St. Paul, MN; however, some on-the-job training will be required in the field within various provinces or territories throughout CPKC’s network in the U.S.

What You Will Do

The Manager Trainee is a full-time, entry-level position designed to prepare you for a leadership role within 84 Lumber. This role offers hands-on training across all aspects of store operations with the goal of promotion to a management position. Within the first 6-12 months, you can be promoted (based on performance and position availability), which can lead to up to a 40% increase in annual pay. Many Manager Trainees progress to General Manager roles within 3-4 years. Manager Trainees must complete the learning plan and course of study as outlined within the assigned time frame and must be willing to relocate for a management position.

Job Summary/Scope

Handles all duties related to prisoner intake and security for the Police Department. No supervisory or budgetary responsibility.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Answers phone and direct calls to the appropriate destination.
  • Answers routine inquiries from citizens and other law enforcement agencies.
  • Prepares and enters computer record of arrestee information.
  • Completes a security check of each city prisoner at a minimum every 30 minutes.
  • Provides for necessities such as food, mandatory phone calls, lights and medical care for city prisoner.
  • Releases prisoners from custody when appropriate.
  • Completes all necessary paperwork on bonds.
  • Receives, secures and accounts for cash received for bonds.
  • Receives, inventories and secures all prisoner personal property.
  • Occasionally assists officers in restraining unruly individuals at the booking desk.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.

City employees shall conduct themselves in a professional manner and shall exhibit and extend such professional conduct appropriate for the circumstances to those with whom they come into contact both internally and externally during the performance of their duties. Job Summary

The Family Support Facilitator provides direct services to clients identified by the funding Source. This includes in-home and community with clients, resources and community partners, with the goal of providing support services to moderate and high-risk families, to reduce the likelihood of a future incidence of maltreatment and involvement with the child welfare system. The Family Support Facilitator will be trained in the use of Solutions Based Casework and Family Team Conferencing, in addition to other assessments. These methods will be the primary manner in which work with the family is performed. Principles of strength-based work, family engagement and risk management will be performed in the daily work. Documentation will be maintained routinely as part of the work with each family.

Job Duties

  • Learns the concepts and principles of Solution Based Casework and Family Team Conferencing, as well as assessments and is able to implement and monitor these assessments in working with the family and in overall case discussion with Supervisor and professionals.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, both internally and externally to the agency, community providers, partners and families.
  • Demonstrate the ability to utilize creative and flexible problem solving to meet the family needs.
  • Reviews all intake information of clients referred.
  • Ensure community services and treatments are delivered and customized to meet the individual needs of the family by building on protective capacities, resiliencies, strengths and learning problem solving skills to divert further involvement with child maltreatment.
  • Works with the families to navigate transportation solutions to meet service's needs, including connection with available community transit options.
  • Ensures a culturally competent service delivery system to each family and client.
  • Observes and submits accurate documentation on the services provided and the functioning of individuals and families as required by specific job or department, including entering in the FSFN database, as required by contract and for Internal Quality practices.
  • Staff all cases weekly or as required by program with supervisor.
  • Builds alliances and partnerships with community providers.
  • Adheres to all applicable policies and procedures of One Hope United.
  • Complete trainings as required by One Hope United and the lead Community Based Care agency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required and two years of experience
  • State of Florida Child Welfare Certification (CWCM) preferred, but not required
  • Must be willing to obtain CWCM certification within 1 year of employment required
  • Must be willing to go through 10-week training required
  • Must have reliable transportation and willing to drive daily for work-related purposes.
  • Availability to include evenings, weekends and on-call required
  • Ability to be culturally diverse required
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish or Creole preferred

Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record with OHU required levels of coverage for auto insurance

Physical Demands & Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. ¿Qué harás como nuestro Community Manager?

Tus principales responsabilidades serán:

¿Qué buscamos en ti?

Requisitos clave:

Formación: Licenciatura en Mercadeo o áreas relacionadas (preferiblemente ya graduado).

Idiomas: Dominio avanzado del inglés (indispensable para trabajar con marcas internacionales).

Experiencia: Al menos 1 año en agencias de marketing o publicidad, gestionando campañas y estrategias digitales.

Habilidades técnicas: Manejo comprobado de Meta Ads y Google Ads; conocimientos básicos en diseño gráfico y edición de video son un plus.

OBJETIVO

El Malts Category Lead es el responsable de liderar las iniciativas de marketing y trade marketing para la categoría de maltas, generando una conexión relevante entre las marcas y los consumidores a través de plataformas, comunicación y experiencias basadas en sus passion points. Asimismo, garantizar una ejecución diferenciada en el punto de venta que potencie la visibilidad, disponibilidad y posicionamiento de las marcas en el canal.

 

 

RESPONSABILIDADES

  • Diseñar y ejecutar la estrategia integral de marca y categoría para maltas, asegurando consistencia entre las iniciativas de marketing y trade marketing.
  • Concebir y ejecutar campañas de marketing 360°, incluyendo medios ATL, BTL, trade, digital, PR y experiencias de marca que conecten con los passion points del consumidor.
  • Identificar insights de consumidor y shopper mediante investigación de mercado y análisis de datos, para guiar la innovación y posicionamiento de las marcas de malta.
  • Colaborar estrechamente con el equipo de Trade Marketing para garantizar una ejecución diferenciada, disruptiva y efectiva en el punto de venta.
  • Liderar lanzamientos de nuevos productos, extensiones o ediciones especiales, asegurando su correcta ejecución y posicionamiento en el mercado.
  • Gestionar el presupuesto de la categoría, optimizando la inversión en marketing y trade para maximizar el retorno y la eficiencia.
  • Coordinar con agencias creativas, de medios y otros socios estratégicos, asegurando entregables de alta calidad y alineación con los objetivos de marca.
  • Impulsar la excelencia en la ejecución en el punto de venta, desarrollando herramientas, materiales y activaciones que maximicen la visibilidad y disponibilidad de las marcas de malta.
  • Desarrollar y ejecutar planes promocionales por canal, optimizando la inversión comercial y garantizando consistencia con los objetivos de la categoría.
  • Monitorear el desempeño de la categoría y marcas en todos los canales, utilizando indicadores como volumen, participación de mercado, visibilidad en el trade, rentabilidad y conversión.
  • Actuar como embajador interno de la categoría, articulando la estrategia y prioridades con áreas clave como Ventas, Finanzas, Supply y Trade.
