Duties

The Building Maintenance Section is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Maintenance Worker, to perform the following duties, which include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain, adjust and make minor repairs of building hardware, furniture, shelving and equipment
  • Replace broken window and door glass, repairs windows and sashes
  • Make minor repairs to masonry, woodwork, flooring and walls

In This Role You Will

Job Summary

As the VisionLink Channel Strategy Manager at Caterpillar, you will play a critical role in driving paid full-fleet adoption of VisionLink across all distribution channels. This position is responsible for aligning VisionLink’s distribution strategy with direct sales, dealer networks, and Cat Technology, ensuring that our digital solutions reach customers efficiently and effectively. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of Caterpillar’s digital ecosystem, develop channel-specific growth plans, and lead go-to-market initiatives for new digital products.

What You Will Do

  • Strategically coordinate VisionLink distribution across direct sales, dealers, and Cat Technology channels to maximize adoption and impact.

Your Profile

 

  • Degree in hospitality, business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven work experience in Nicaragua or Latin-American, (additional experience abroad is a plus)
  • Motivated by social impact and aligned with our mission.
  • Minimum 5 year’s work experience of which 2 years at managerial level.
  • Experience in the hotel or tourism industry
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Well-developed cross-cultural sensitivity
  • Ability to engage with people from all educational backgrounds
  • Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented, and able to work independently.

JEFE DE LABORATORIO QUÍMICO

En esta posición, no solo gestionarás el laboratorio; serás el garante de la confianza y la transparencia entre la operación industrial y la minería artesanal. Tu firma validará el pago justo y el balance metalúrgico de la compañía.

 

Ubicación:Bonanza - Nicaragua

Tu Misión: Liderar integralmente los procesos de preparación y análisis (Ensayo al Fuego, AA, XRF), asegurando estándares internacionales de QA/QC y gestionando la relación técnica con fiscales externos.

Principales Desafíos:

  • Gestión Técnica: Asegurar la precisión en leyes de oro/plata mediante estrictos protocolos de QA/QC y estadística avanzada.
  • Relacionamiento: Atender a fiscales y representantes de la minería artesanal, resolviendo discrepancias técnicas con objetividad para asegurar la paz social y la transparencia del negocio.
  • Liderazgo Operativo: Gestionar un equipo grande (directo e indirecto), controlando el presupuesto (CAPEX/OPEX), insumos y la seguridad del personal.
  • Inteligencia de Negocio: Desarrollar sistemas estadísticos para detectar tendencias atípicas o intentos de fraude en la entrega de mineral.

Requisitos del Perfil que buscamos:

Formación: Ingeniero Químico / Ingeniero de Minas y Metalurgia.

Experiencia: 5 a 8 años liderando laboratorios mineros.

Expertise Técnico: Química analítica de metales preciosos y sólido manejo de Ensayo al Fuego (Fire Assay), Absorción Atómica y XRF.

Competencias: Inglés Intermedio y alta capacidad de análisis estadístico para QA/QC.

Valores: Una trayectoria marcada por la honestidad, la comunicación asertiva y el liderazgo de equipos.
