Roles and Responsibilities

You will manage individual projects with minimal supervision, including tracking metrics, handling complex analyses, and preparing communications to report back to client and internal leadership. You will develop practical recommendations, contribute to team discussions on implications of analyses, and work alongside the client’s staff on each project, assisting with implementation tasks.

  • Provide input on multiple small and large high-value projects across a range of industries and problem statements

  • Collaborate with Mastercard team to understand clients’ needs, challenges, agenda, and risks

Qualifications

Basic qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree with work experience in project management and change management methodologies and techniques
  • 2-3 years of Project Management experience
  • Exposure to financial institutions, payments, and/or consultancies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage extensive projects across multiple teams and departments.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proven experience in driving large-scale initiatives across the organization, particularly within IT environments
  • Relevant teamwork and client or internal stakeholder management experience

Summary/Objective:

Your New Role...

Our CNN Platforms team is looking for a Director, Software Engineering to lead several critical pillars of our CNN.com and CNN app digital experiences — Data PrivacySite Performance & Accessibility, and Design Systems. The CNN Platforms team builds, operates, and optimizes our digital content platform to empower journalists and product teams to drive essential, sustainable, and facts-first storytelling. Our focus areas include the content management system powering our CNN editorial experiences, content distribution to internal systems and external partners, media management for assets, website and app performance, data privacy and governance, and our core CNN design system.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering leaders to embed these capabilities into rendering workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and internal observability systems.

Qualifications & Essentials...

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a software engineering leadership role within Data Privacy, Site Performance & Accessibility, and/or Design Systems.

  • Strong experience (3+ years) managing and scaling high-performance engineering teams, with focus on mentorship, team development, and inclusive culture.

  • Deep knowledge of modern web and mobile application architecture, with an emphasis on frontend development, UI/UX practices, and responsible user data management.

  • Extensive experience in server architecture, cloud computing (AWS), backend services design and integration, and content management systems.

  • Proficient in programming languages including Node.js, Go, JavaScript, and other relevant languages.

  • Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies for web, mobile, and connected TV platforms.

Misión del puesto:

Brindar el soporte necesario al área de tecnología para el cumplimiento de los requisitos regulatorios, atender procesos de auditorias y procesos de autoevaluación institucional a fin de tener una evaluación interna de los procesos, coordinar y ejecutar lo relacionado a ejercicios de continuidad de negocios dentro del área y velar por las gestiones administrativas de tecnología.

 

Requisitos:

Graduado de ingenieria en sistemas o carreras a fines.

2 años de experiencia como auditor de sistemas o riesgo tecnológico en instituciones financieras.

Conocimiento en control interno y mitigación de riesgos

Manejo de legislación bancarias y regulatoria
