Product Owner, Supply Chain & Procurement

Job Description As a Product Owner, Supply Chain & Procurement (Business Solutions – Corporate Core Finance), you will own the vision, roadmap, and prioritized backlog for SAP S/4HANA capabilities that support procurement, inventory, and related finance processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, engineers, QA, data teams, and delivery partners to deliver scalable, user-centered solutions across procure-to-pay and connected order-to-cash workflows. This role combines strong product ownership with a working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, and Finance/Controlling integrations. You will focus on improving business outcomes such as purchasing compliance, process efficiency, invoice automation, spend visibility, inventory accuracy, financial controls, and user experience. Drive Product Outcomes Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog for supply chain, procurement, and related finance capabilities. Define the customer and business problems to solve, desired outcomes, and success measures—not only the features to deliver. Translate business objectives into prioritized epics, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and incremental release plans. Balance customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, risk, compliance needs, and delivery timelines. Break large initiatives into smaller releases that enable continuous delivery, learning, and measurable improvement. Define and monitor key performance indicators for adoption, process efficiency, procurement compliance, spend visibility, inventory accuracy, and user satisfaction. Lead Discovery and Process Design Lead discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with procurement, supply chain, finance, warehouse, sales, customer service, and IT stakeholders. Understand current-state workflows, pain points, and control requirements needs across procure-to-pay and connected order-to-cash processes. Facilitate future-state process design, identify gaps and dependencies, document decisions, and build alignment on scope and priorities. Use stakeholder feedback, operational data, and system insights to validate assumptions before significant investment. Identify opportunities to improve workflows through SAP capabilities, process simplification, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions. Maintain a strong understanding of core procurement, inventory, finance, and cross-functional business processes. Enable Strong Delivery Partner with SAP functional consultants, engineers, QA, integration teams, data teams, and business process owners to refine solutions and remove ambiguity. Define requirements for integrations among SAP S/4HANA MM, SD, FI/CO, warehouse operations, tax, payment, logistics, customer, supplier, and third-party systems. Validate end-to-end business and accounting impacts across requisition-to-payment, inventory, sales-order-to-billing, and financial reporting processes. Participate in and lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and other Agile delivery ceremonies. Prioritize defects, enhancements, and change requests based on business impact, urgency, risk, compliance, and roadmap value. Support implementation activities including master-data readiness, data migration, testing, cutover planning, release readiness, hypercare, and post-launch stabilization. Coordinate business testing by defining test scenarios, test data, acceptance criteria, and success measures for end-to-end processes. Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, defect triage, and business sign-off. Build Alignment and Trust Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. Communicate product strategy, roadmap priorities, progress, trade-offs, risks, and dependencies clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
