This Privacy Policy explains how Buskeros ("Buskeros", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you use buskeros.com, our applications, and related services (the "Service"). Buskeros is a services and jobs marketplace operating across Central America, the Caribbean, and the United States. By using the Service you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information we collect We collect the information needed to operate the marketplace: - Account data: name, email, phone, password (stored encrypted), and country. - Profile and resume: professional headline, experience, education, skills, languages, location, photo, and any other data you choose to publish. - Services and jobs: the services, job posts, and listings you create on the platform. - Transactions: when you hire or get paid through the Service, we process the amount, currency, and payment status. Your card details are processed directly by our payment provider (Stripe); Buskeros does not store card numbers. - Communications: messages, contact requests, and service requests between users, as well as your correspondence with our team. - Usage and device data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and interactions, collected through cookies and similar technologies. - Telegram integration: if you connect your Telegram account, we receive your Telegram identifier to send you notifications and enable bot features.

3. How we use your information We use your data to: - Create and manage your account and profile. - Connect service providers, professionals, employers, and clients, and show you relevant content. - Process payments, escrow holds, and transfers to providers. - Send you transactional notifications and, where you allow it, marketing communications. - Prevent fraud, abuse, and activity that violates our terms, and keep the Service secure. - Analyze and improve the Service. - Comply with our legal obligations.

4. Legal bases (for users in the EEA/EU) We process your data on the basis of: performance of a contract (providing the Service), your consent (for example, for marketing and non-essential cookies), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and improving the Service), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How we share your information - With other users: your public profile, services, and listings are visible to other users; when a booking is made, we share the data necessary to complete it between the parties. - With providers acting on our behalf: Stripe (payments and payouts), Brevo (email), our hosting and infrastructure providers (Supabase), Google (analytics), and Telegram (messaging), all subject to confidentiality obligations. - For legal reasons: when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and prevent fraud. - In corporate transactions: in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction. We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers We operate in several countries and some of our providers are located outside your country of residence (including the United States and the European Union). When we transfer data internationally, we apply appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
