Civil Engineer

Company Description The Ministerio de Salud y Asistencia Social of the Guatemalan government is responsible for the control of pharmaceutical products and related items, food control, accreditation and regulation of health establishments, health and environment programs, and the national health laboratory (LNS). Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Guatemala City for a Civil Engineer. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for evaluating civil engineering projects related to infrastructure, potable water plants, wastewater plants, overall construction projects, and others. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating design plans, collaborating with other civil engineers, conducting site assessments, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Qualifications Skills in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering Experience working as Civil Engineers and in Planning (desired) Knowledge in Project Management Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work on-site and in collaborative environments Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Professional Engineer license in Guatemala is preferred
