The Postproduction Team Lead is responsible for the quality control of digital assets, color correction, and retouching of product and creative images. The Postproduction Team Lead will partner with key members of the Imaging Studio Team and drive all post-production workflow processes with the goal of delivering high quality imagery. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to implement and drive digital standards. The Team Lead is responsible for delivering consistency in digital and visual standards, graphic creation, image assembly, and executing web and print-ready deliverables for a wide variety of media. This individual plays an integral role in communication as it relates to image manipulation, organization and the timely delivery of assets. This position will interact and coordinate with Merchants, eComm, Creative, Photography and Project Leads to ensure goals, details, and deadlines are met.

Create and implement PD Guideline Standards for Imaging Studio best practices.
Strong attention to detail with the initiative to foresee and resolve problems.
Partner with Photographers to ensure best practices for all images.
Identify efficiencies and partner with Studio Manager to maximize resources.
Control the quality of all retouched images while adhering to HSN brand standards.
Proactively tracks, prioritizes, organizes and plans tasks.
Lead the process for color correction, and retouching of product and creative images.
Responsible for the Quality and Assurance of all PD and Creative Images including Fashion PD’s.
Works as subject matter expert for all aspects of product photography.
Establish and police file naming and photo-tagging.
Responsible for communication, organization and delivery of assets.
Responsible for processing imagery to HSN Standards and delivering contact sheets.
Makes business first decisions and always acts with integrity.
Ability to lead direct reports if/when necessary.
Must be able to successfully prioritize and apply knowledge, experience, and learnings to real situations to help solve problems and meet deadlines.
What You Bring
Portfolio submission required
Bachelor’s Degree in Photography, Communications, eCommerce, TV or Digital Media related field
Minimum 3-5 Years industry experience in Postproduction/ TV Production/ Video Production/ or Digital Media Production required.
Experience in eCommerce, Retail, and/ or Merchandising photography environment preferred.
3-5 Years Media Asset Management Experience Required.
2-4 years product and creative photography preferred.
2+ years of prior experience in color correction, compositing, masking, resizing, optimization, file output and file management.
Ability to lift items weighing approximately 20 to 40 lbs.
Strong retouching skills – artistic sensibility and a keen eye for detail.
Strong background and ability to perform as a product creative photographer. Lighting and photographic equipment knowledge is essential.
Background in graphic design and/ or as a Production Artist with the aptitude to bring our postproduction needs to life efficiently and successfully.
This position will be relied on for attention to detail, implementation of digital standards.
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and advanced knowledge of Photoshop.
Proficient on both the Macintosh (OSX) and PC computing platforms.
