Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the development of high-end residential
and hospitality units within the Agave Grove community. This role will collaborate closely with a team of
architects, designers, and the developer, while coordinating with Camp Homes, who will manufacture and
install much of the residential structures. The focus will be on site preparation, foundations, and overall
project execution to deliver a unique, luxury coastal living experience. This is a full-time position based on site in El Transito, Nicaragua.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and lead teams of local labor and subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality
construction.
• Oversee bidding processes for subcontractors, including solicitation, evaluation, and contract
negotiation.
• Develop and implement construction plans, with emphasis on site planning, foundation building,
and infrastructure integration for prefabricated homes installed by Camp Homes teams.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, and the developer to align construction activities with project
vision and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and sustainable practices
suited to Nicaragua's coastal environment.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality control, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Handle on-site logistics, safety protocols, and problem-solving for any construction challenges.
• Contribute to the overall development of community amenities, such as trails, pools, and event
spaces, as needed.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role in high-end residential or hospitality
developments within Nicaragua.
• Strong knowledge of construction planning, bidding processes, and managing local labor and
subcontractors.
• Familiarity with site preparation, foundations, and integrating prefabricated or modular building
systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Fluency in Spanish and English preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
