Job Title Vice President, Talent Acquisition Latin America Overview • Aligns talent acquisition strategies with the Mastercard’s talent agenda • Accountable for designing, planning and coordinating talent acquisition efforts; ensures the talent acquisition programs are scalable to support local, regional and global activities • Acts as consultants to the business on a wide variety of talent acquisition strategies, programs and processes • These include talent planning, recruiting, assessment, candidate sourcing, market research and employment branding Responsibilities • Oversees development of short and long-term talent acquisition and talent management/development strategies supporting global business units and regions • Collaborates cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (e.g., business leaders) and external talent acquisition partners (e.g., vendors) to execute strategies to address talent needs for global business units and regions • Responsible for processes and systems management and trains and supports the talent acquisition team to follow consistent processes and reporting methodologies • Plans and directs talent acquisition sourcing strategy, including direct sourcing, agency usage, etc. • Manages and ensures accurate records and reporting concerning all phases of the talent acquisition process are in compliance with established standards and requirements • Assesses external labor market, the competitive environment and Mastercard business objectives to forecast talent supply and talent acquisition needs • Maintains and manages internal and external stakeholder relationships, including senior function leaders and vendors • For University Talent Acquisition: • Develops and maintains internal and external stakeholder relationships, including senior function leaders, university talent acquisition contacts, and vendor leaders • Directs sourcing strategy including campus usage, campus communication and marketing materials Experiences • Successfully developed and implemented talent acquisition strategies and programs that balance internal business unit demands and conditions of the external business unit/market in a fast-paced and high volume, matrixed environment • Experience developing integrated sourcing, marketing and branding strategies to support talent acquisition goals • Experience implementing enhancements to talent acquisition programs/processes based relevant best practices, external trends and leveraging advanced analytics • Track record engaging with leaders to understand and address the business and talent acquisition needs and handling external relationships (i.e. vendors, agencies, branding partners) • Experience with contract management & negotiation Due to COVID-19, most of our employees are working from home.
