We are seeking a Trauma Coordintor (RN) to work in close collaboration with the Trauma Medical Director and Trauma ProgramManager to ensure compliance with trauma standards and guidelines.

What you will do in this role:
  • You will be responsible for the coordination of Trauma PerformanceImprovement with the Trauma Education, Outreach and Injury Prevention programs,which encompasses all areas and disciplines of the hospital that participate inthe care of admitted injured patients. 
  • You will facilitate performance improvement datacollection, analysis, trending, and benchmarking of data and outcomes. 
  • You will be responsible for improving trauma care within both theorganization and the region, optimizing patient and family outcomes.
  • You will be responsible for leading and training others, coordinating and reviewing their work as a Lead and supervising those doing similar work. 

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required, BSN preferred.
  • Currently licensed as a registered professionalnurse in the state of practice and/or active compact license,in accordance with laws and regulation.
  • Current American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS,ACLS, and PALS required.  
  • TNCC and ENPC required within sixmonths of hire.   
  • 3-5years RN experience in trauma, emergency services or Critical Care experience required.
