Job Description

Job Profile SummaryCAI is seeking a Tolls Equipment Technician to provide ad-hoc support as part of a contract in the Tallahassee, FL area. 

For this position, the Tolls Equipment Technician will be supporting monthly preventative maintenance and be ready to respond for any additional maintenance request that come in. Total time each month is approximately 8-12 hours, possibly more depending on volume. 

Monthly maintenance will be planned ahead of time and occurs during the 3rd week of each month. All additional hours will be on an as-needed basis and are not planned/scheduled ahead of time. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform inventory management activities
  • Maintain files and logs of all new and repaired parts, maintenance reports
  • Practice Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) complaint statues utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) 
  • Toll point equipment maintenance including Ad-hoc requests as needed 8 – 12 hours per month
  • Provide exceptional service to the client
  • Qualifications Experience/Education Required
  • Knowledge of OSHA Construction safety requirements
  • Knowledge of Facilities Maintenance
  • Basic Knowledge of Fiber Optics Systems
  • Basic Knowledge of computers
  • Skilled in th use of volt/amp meters and basic hand tools
  • Skills Required
  • Knowledge of electronic theory and practical applications
  • Knowledge of electronic circuitry
  • Familiar with network and computer systems
  • Ability to use a computer for communication and record keeping
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to read and interpret design plans
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to recognize components
  • Skills Preferred Other Requirements
  • Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License
  • Ability to pass quarterly MVR check
  • Physical Demands
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Work is regularly performed both inside and outside in weather conditions and near moving traffic
  • Regularly required to:Bend, squat, crawl, reach and maneuver in tight spaces.Carry/lift up to 50 pounds, climb, pull, push, stand, twist, and walkWork at a height up to thirty (30) feet
