Kendall Regional Medical Center is a417-bed, full-service, acute hospital providing 24-hour comprehensive care inthe community including trauma, burn, surgical, women’s and children’sservices, behavioral health and diagnostic services, along with two fullservice free-standing ER facilities, one in Doral and the other at The PalmsTown & Country.

Job Summary:
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures anddelivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functionsin the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with othermembers of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluatesnursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resourceperson for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’svision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience andclinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

Qualifications

 

  • Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
  • Certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider, ACLS, required 
  • Must have 1-3 years’ experience in Telemetry –experience with ventilator care.  
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing Associates in Nursing.Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred
