Tax Coordinator - Kissimmee

Genuent is hiring a Tax Coordinator to assist an indirect tax group of an enterprise entertainment organization. The indirect tax group is responsible for the preparation, filing, and audit of all indirect tax returns (sales & use, gross receipts, property, etc.). The group assists other groups within the tax department (e. g. tax planning, tax provision, audit controversy) with the tasks that reside in those groups and in implementing department objectives.

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

Process tax returns for tax compliance matters

Ensure that indirect tax returns, notices, extensions, amended returns are timely filed with government agencies

Organize and prioritize tax files for processing according to due dates

Experience and understanding in tax systems from a technical standpoint

Independent thinker with ability to work on a team

Accounting background or experience in balance reconciliation
