Assist product engineering during production runs of new product development, evaluate new raw materials and substitutes and take corrective action on any production line producing unacceptable quality or scrap by either shutdown, adjustment, or initiating maintenance work orders. Maintain written records of all breakdowns and repairs allowing for analysis and compliance with ISO 9000standards. Will be required to participate in activities that require frequent time spent on the manufacturing floor and occasionally working outdoors Support the Quality Monitoring Program, including the review of test plan, test report and ensuring the resolution of identified non-conformances. Actively work with Supplier Quality and Operations to ensure that first articles are accurate and complete for product produced at OEM’s, ODM’s and component suppliers. Coordinate Assurance and Quality Control activities. Taking care of intercompany and customer notifications related to assigned production area. Run reports and updates to support way we make decisions in quality. Promote and practice structured continuous improvements through the use of quality tools. Improve efficiency of Quality management systems through participation in internal audits, management reviews and document reviews. Facilitate effective corrective actions. Identify and report quality problems or trends. Assist in identifying and eliminating the root causes of these problems.
Required Qualifications for Consideration
Bachelor’s in related curriculum such as Engineering Proven leadership and management skills. Proved skills on quality tools (PFMEA, 8D, 5 whys). Experience with the development and documentation of quality systems processes and procedures. Certified Quality Auditor or Certified Quality Engineer. People management proved skills English 75%
