Supervisor of Radiology, Radiology Dept.

Full Time 2/12's Sat & Sun and 2/8's rotating on weekdays ,call and holiday rotation (FTE 1.0) 40 hours

Job Description:

Underthe direction of the Administrative Director and in conjunction with theMedical Director, performs professional duties involved in a variety oftechnical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologicdiagnosis, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative.Responsible for patient care, comfort and completion of required procedures. Isresponsible for the assessment, treatment or care appropriate to the ages ofthe patients served: i.e. Toddler, Child, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric.Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of thepatient’s needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has anunderstanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.

Qualifications

Current FloridaLicense as Certified Radiologic Technologist
ARRT cert
BLS
Satisfactory completion of a Radiologic Technologist training program inan AMA approved school
