Summary:

The USF Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) is seeking a student to assist with providing education and encouragement for bicyclist and pedestrian safety programs. The student chosen will work 20 hours per week in a remote work environment. Work hours are flexible, but will include assigned time periods. The qualified student should be self-motivated, and enthusiastic about bicycling and walking to be successful in this exciting role. Interviews for this position will take place in late October.

Duties and Responsibilites:

  • Assist with virtual safety presentations.
  • Write social media posts and content for website.
  • Input data into spreadsheets.
  • Other responsibilities to be assigned as needed.
  • QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):

    Average Number of Hours per Week: 20 hours per week

    Minimum Qualifications: 

    Current USF student

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional experience in any of the following: communications, community relations, community health education and outreach and volunteer, planning, or other related experience (please describe in your cover letter)
  • Maintain an overall minimum grade point average (GPA) and degree program GPA of 3.00
  • Enrolled full-time during the semester(s). Full-time enrollment is considered 9 graduate credit hours in the Fall semester.
