Staff Accountant - North Miami

We have an immediate need for a Staff Accountant to assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded. You will ensure the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger, as well as compile financial data to aid more senior accountants in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Other responsibilities include providing support to accounts payable and receivable, tax returns, bank reconciliations, general ledger entities, forecasting, and budgeting. You will also help analyze corporate financial operations to ensure the business is running efficiently.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Enter accounting related information into accounting system.
Organize and update financial records.
Support implementation and performance of procedures
Perform monthly bank reconciliations
Provide documentation for external auditors.
Reconciliations and supporting month-end closing.
Support AR and AP functions.
Support filing of the tax returns.

Bilingual English/Spanish
MUST know Quickbooks and Excel
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another related field.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software.
