As an Infrastructure Automation Engineer you will help us to empower the customers delivering cloud infrastructure and automation solutions using containers to enable scalable and portable capabilities. Join a team of experts in kubernetes and cloud infra to support the company on initiatives, applying these expertises to embed those capabilities into the solutions to our customers.
In this role you are expected to:
Work with System Architects, Technology Strategists and Product Engineering teams to turn internal and product requirements into well-designed, sustainable infrastructure and internal system solutions that enable efficient software production; Develop tools and infrastructure to deploy, monitor and manage production services and products used by all of Product Engineering. Ensure delivered solutions are optimized for ease-of-use, reusability, and scalability; Stay up-to-date on relevant technologies pertinent to the role and understand trends and opportunities to ensure the client continues to use the best possible techniques and tools to create software; Ensure implementations and development activities always lead towards enriching knowledge base documentation, including capturing design details, usage, maintenance, configuration, and deployment notes; Work with cross-functional development teams. Profile:
Experience and demonstrated expertise with architecting, managing, deploying and operating production infrastructure within an AWS cloud environment; Demonstrated ability to design and implement automation solutions / distributed applications / API with Python; Advanced knowledge of best practices and experience in code-based configuration, load-balancing, auto-scaling, monitoring, networking and problem-solving in a cloud environment, preferably on the following AWS products: EC2, ASG, Load Balancing, DynamoDB, StepFunctions, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, ECS, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, etc; Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, preferably CDK-CloudFormation, CDK-Terraform and Terraform; Knowledge to provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations. Document and design various processes and update existing processes. Be a hands-on teacher and advocate to ensure successful adoption of new tools, processes, and best practices; Others:
