Sr. Systems Engineer (w/ SiteMinder) - Jacksonville

ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a Sr. Systems / Security Engineer with SiteMinder experience.  This position is REMOTE 100% and can stay remote for the right candidate.  This starting out as a contract position through January 2021 with the intention of extending well into 2021 or possible conversion to FTE.
 
You must work directly on ARC Group’s W2 (no C2C allowed) and have permanent work eligibility (no visas- sorry). 
 
This position will be supporting ForgeRock Infrastructure so candidate MUST HAVE experience with SiteMinder to ForgeRock implementation.  Candidates MUST have experience modifying security policies with CA / Broadcom / Symantec SiteMinder. Without one of these, you will be disqualified.
 
Sr. Systems Engineer Duties:
 

• Responsible for monitoring, installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of technology solutions.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot problem and perform scripting/programming
• Performs installation, monitoring, testing, configuration, migration, maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned technology
• Manages system/application environment and ongoing operations
• Ensures that the technologies are updated with current, stable, and compliant architecture and applications that meet enterprise standards
• Researches, designs, implements and tests technology solutions
• Proactively monitors and reports performance and utilization of assigned technologies
• Manages problem or escalated tickets and tasks and out of cycle requests from systems/software owners
• Determines migration and upgrade impacts and diagnose/resolve complex technology/application errors
• Performs on-call activities as needed for the environment and technologies

 
Sr. Systems Engineer Requirements:

• Must have at least 3 years of extensive experience administering SiteMinder products, including SPS and migration experience from Siteminder to ForgeRock
• Extensive knowledge in setting up policies, JWT infrastructure, SSO channels for both web applications as well as inter-service calls.
• Working knowledge of writing Ansible playbooks and setting up Ansible environment to connect to multi-OS endpoints to perform remote agent management.
• Well-versed with IT security, cryptography, AAA, JWT, OAuth and other related concepts and technologies
• 5-8 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience demonstrating proficiency and experience in design, implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting technology
• Must have exp securing legacy web applications & applications deployed in OpenShift environments
• MUST have hands on working knowledge of: Multi-factor Authentication, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect and JWT (JSON Web Token)
• Able to write PowerShell & Python scripts for scratch
