If you're a Senior Financial Analyst available for long-term temporary work, this could be the job for you! This Senior Financial Analyst consultant role will our client's primary point of contact for all financial issues, including project spending, planning, forecasting and annual budgeting. The Senior Financial Analyst consultant will also perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments supporting public reporting requirements, and provide decision-making support for future company investments. This Senior Financial Analyst will be placed at the Medley, Florida office.

What you get to do every single day

- Build positive relationships with key business partners and Finance/Accounting leadership
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing financial results, distilling/synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating critical updates to senior leadership
- Develop repeatable business, operational and financial processes widely understood by all necessary teams
- Work closely with the Functional leads to provide management reporting, accounting and compliance guidance plus ensure alignment of operational initiatives
- Drive existing management reporting - analyze financial results, distill and synthesize issues, communicate key messages to senior management
- Execute assistance in all ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests
- Identify and execute financial analysis to optimize business performance
- Execute improved management reporting by working with Operations and Accounting to more discreetly and accurately track financial results

- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Skilled at process reengineering and optimization
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
- Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently
- Well-versed in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended
- CPA/MBA preferred
- Compelling strategy mindset and a track record of interacting successfully with management
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Business or related field
- Proven ability to work cross functionally and influence key decision makers
- Solid understanding of Hyperion Financial Management
- Hyperion Financial Reporting experience
- Microsoft Excel experience
