SCHEDULE: PRN/Per Diem
Social Worker - Behavioral Health (PHP/IOP) - PRN
Position Summary: Plans, organizes, directs, defines and coordinates clinical services necessary to meet the legal, organizational, medical staff and regulatory agencies guidelines. Provide case management, education, group and individual therapy, and discharge planning. Performs community and educational activities
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling required
- License required in social work (LCSW) or other mental health profession (LMFT, LMHC) and be qualified in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- BLS-AHA Provider card required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Behavioral Health setting required
- Experience in a Behavioral Health outpatient setting preferred
- Group/Individual/Family therapy experience preferred
- Case Management/Discharge Planning experience preferred
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
- Be able to handle multiple task pertaining to patient issues.
- Be able to work in a team environment.
- A firm background in social service practice, patient aftercare and discharge planning.
