Senior Tax Accountant - Naples

Job Description

A prestigious 110 year old national law firm, has a position available in its Naples, Florida office for a Senior Tax Accountant specialized in Estate tax returns, particularly 709's and 706's, and related tax work. Candidates with 5 years' related practical experience in a law firm will be considered for interviews.

Responsibilities:
- The position supports attorneys in the Private Clients Group.
- Candidate must be able to record time, and work on assignments independently, with attorney review.
- Accuracy and attention to detail are imperative.
- Candidate must have the ability to communicate with attorneys, clients, beneficiaries, and financial institutions.
- Organizational skills needed to keep track of all assignments and meet all deadlines.
- Good clerical, administrative and mathematical skills are an asset.
- Candidate must have a strong working knowledge of various tax software applications.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Candidate must have experience preparing tax returns, including 1040s, 1041s, 709s & 706s; CPA preferred.

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
4-7 years
