Senior IT Infrastructure Architect - Jacksonville

 
ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Architect for a FL-based client. This will start REMOTE but the hiring manager will need someone within driving distance to Jacksonville, FL for any post-COVID required work on site if needed.  Again, this is remote but might require occasional onsite work later next year.  

This is starting as a six-month contract position with the intent to extend to the end of 2021 or possibly convert to FTE. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected organization that offers tremendous career growth potential.
 
This is W2 contract and you must work directly on ARC Group’s W2 without sponsorship or transfer.

The IT Infrastructure Architects will strategically evaluate technology and market trends, identify impacts on business; develop and manage ongoing enterprise architecture governance structure; perform as a sounding board and IT consultant to business leaders to develop IT infrastructure solutions.

INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECT DUTIES

• Evaluates and makes recommendations on technical infrastructure
• Develops implementation plan for infrastructure architecture on basis of IT strategies and business requirements
• Perform evaluation plus selection of infrastructure architecture standards commensurate
• Consults project teams to fit infrastructure architecture assignments and identify need to modify infrastructure architecture to attain project requirements
• Consults with project teams of infrastructure development to fit entire architecture infrastructure
• Identifies enterprise requirements for structures, resources and cultural modifications
• Develop & manage ongoing enterprise architecture governance to business & IT strategies
• Leads and directs the preparation of governing principles to guide infrastructure architecture

 
REQUIRED INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECT QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years' related work experience, including progressive work experience in infrastructure services, data centers, end user computing, servers and networks as an Architect working on progressively more complex IT projects
• Broad based knowledge of security, mobile device management, servers, off the shelf software packages.  
• Highly developed proficiency in creating architectural designs for gradually complex designs.
• Highly adept at consulting, negotiating, communicating, consensus building, presentation and facilitation.
• Mastery of a variety of hardware platforms including mainframes, distributed platforms, end user computing, and mobile devices.

KEY FOCUS
This individual will support multiple current and upcoming projects around a variety of technology including Oracle, Exchange, SharePoint, Skype, WebSphere, Windows 2008, Windows 10, ITSM, FASST, ShopMyIT, Contact Center Stabilization, Mobile Device Management, XenMobile from Mobile Devices, MS Teams, Citrix Disaster Recovery, Endpoint Transformation, Bitlocker products and projects.
