Senior Internal Auditor

Large international company has an immediate need for an Senior Internal Auditor to join their Corporate Audit Department. Reporting directly to the Regional Internal Audit Manager, you will be responsible for finance, compliance and operational audits for multiple divisions of the company. This role will have responsibilities such as:

-Participate as lead member in complex audit assignments, mainly in the areas of finance related processes, accounting, tax, controller, and/or corporate finance as well as compliance areas
-Perform requested follow-up procedures
-IFRS experience a plus
-Coach and review work performed by staff
-Perform risk based audit, root cause analysis, and prepare work audit papers
-Execute special projects and process improvements on ad-hoc basis
-Discuss and present draft findings to relevant local management during audits
-Obtain understanding of assigned complex areas (processes, departments, accounts) in order to answer any questions regarding audit work

This role requires 5-7 years' experience within internal or external audit. Due to it being an international company, you will be required to travel 40% (international).
Bilingual is a plus (Spanish - preferred)
