The Opportunity

This particular team works to design, develop, execute and analyze marketing communications, segments, offers & campaigns across multiple channels within UNICA campaign management tool.  This includes inbound communications such as phone, website and mobile and also includes outbound communications such as email, package insert and direct mail.  This team collaborates closely with the multiple teams including Customer Development, Email/Push/Organic Social Marketing, Analytics, Performance Marketing, Payments and eCommerce teams in planning segment strategies, assessing results and providing informed recommendations to key stakeholders.   As well as working closely with the IT and the Interactive teams to help optimize the UNICA Campaign Management system.  This role is one of the business SME and power-users for UNICA and will work very closely with Analytics in determining customer modeling as well as audience development in marketing.

How you will make an impact

  • Strong hands-on experience creating sessions, strategic segments, macros and complex campaign flowcharts within Unica. Ability to identify areas to create best practices, establish efficiencies, and proactively present production solutions. Strong ability to manage and communicate process and/or quality control gaps and know when to escalate to reduce risk.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to support campaign management processes and understand campaign marketing results. Clear understanding and experience of online marketing, specifically within the disciplines of digital, mobile, and social media are preferred; demonstrated track record of planning and coordinating successful marketing activities through all direct B2C channels.
  • Other highly desired knowledge, experience, and skills include working in B2C environment; understanding of unique needs of digital, mobile and social customers; effective campaign management practices; understanding of customer acquisition and retention methods; A/B testing strategies, etc.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree; with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with UNICA Campaign Management tool including Interact is required.
  • Strong SQL skills is a must with a ability to write complex raw SQL.
  • Proficient with Relational Databases such as Oracle, Netezza, MS SQL server, Teradata.
  • UNIX, SAS, Tableau, JIRA, Email campaign management tool experience.
  • Experience working with business intelligence/reporting tools like Business Objects, Cognos is preferred.
  • Omni-channel retail experience required.
