Senior Accounting Manager - Boca Raton

A construction company based in Boca Raton, FL is looking to hire a Senior Accounting Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the reporting cycle of the company and to provide technical accounting support.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare all filings and reports
• Document the Company’s position on technical matters, including new guidance
• Ensure accounting records, monthly accounting close activities, and variance analysis are properly prepared, maintained and explained in a timely manner
• Facilitate and manage the annual audit and quarterly financial reviews
• Establish structure and standards to ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and operating effectively
• Perform ad-hoc support on projects

Requirements:

• Active CPA license; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of financial, accounting and/or auditing experience
• CPA Firm Audit experience is highly preferred
• Construction or real estate industry experience is preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
