Senior Accountant needed for growing public company located in Boca Raton. This full-time position is responsible for accurately maintaining financial records, managing administrative processes, and supporting the operations of the business in an accounting and financial capacity.

work hours: 9 to 5
education: Bachelor's degree
experience: 5 Years
 
responsibilities:
Work closely with CFO on all accounting initiativesUpdate and reconcile weekly Cash Position Report and Revenue ReportsCreate and post General Ledger Journal Entries for payroll, cash transfers, cash deposits and needed re-classifications to the appropriate accountsReconcile key accounts, especially Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, to support the Financial StatementsServe as back up to maintain month-, quarter-, and year-end financial statementsUpdate accounting processes as needed to maintain accounting records efficientlyRegularly review and innovate on extant processes and Standard Operating ProceduresLead accounting software underwriting and work with IT on implementation 
qualifications:
Four-year degree in accounting or related fieldAt least 5 years of professional accounting experienceExcel Skills (pivot tables, v-lookups)Windows Office SuiteQuickbooksAttention to detail and follow-throughAmazing Communication SkillsSelf-starter and critical-thinkerCPA (preferred)
