The Digital Strategist is responsible for the successful management of digital strategies for client brands. The role requires an innovator, a trendsetter, and a progressive thinker who understands how digital is connected to every aspect of a client business. This position has a highly visible, and in-demand role drive organic and new business growth. This individual must understand how to transform client business objectives into the digital activities that will achieve them. This is a role for a digital native, but one that doesn’t have blinders on to the important role other disciplines play and how to create synergies between them. This person also handles the day-to-day operations of agency projects, including research, POV briefings, status meetings, creative brainstorms and more. The Digital Strategist is also responsible for achieving the client’s strategic brand and business objectives by working with clients to provide them with guidance and working with the internal team to achieve execution of strategies.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Design cross channel digital campaigns and experiences using a variety of digital tactics to produce measurable business objectives
· Ideate and help creative manifest creative concepts into innovative digital executions using a variety of tactics
· Identify opportunities for clients to use digital technology to enhance their overall marketing mix: product, price, place, or promotion.
· Work closely with cross functional teams to provide overarching digital strategies and approaches that integrate with broader strategic objectives
· Through a strong understanding of digital measurement and analytics, provide thoughtful solutions for how clients can identify and track critical KPIs for digital campaigns and initiatives
· Using assessment tools and secondary research, provide clients with assessments of their overall digital maturity and performance
· Provide POVs on client’s global web architecture detailing how each piece of the ecosystem (sites, social assets, etc.) will contribute to brands key business objectives
· Use client and industry insights to develop overarching CRM and 1:1 marketing strategies and campaigns
· Conduct web asset audits to map a brand’s global web presence and assess the effectiveness of each asset.
· Provide POVs regarding the use and effectiveness of existing and emerging technologies
· By actively staying abreast of the digital marketing industry, bring best practice ideas and benchmarking to clients, especially as it relates to mobile, CRM, and emerging technologies

QUALIFICATIONS

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
•Four to six years of full-time experience in digital marketing or advertising (digital experience required)
•Mastery of basic marketing principles, such as target segmentation, category, value proposition, positioning, and brand strategy.
•Marketing experience with a broad variety of business models and industries
•Some experience with enterprise level email platforms, Google Analytics (or other online mgmt) platforms, and social platforms
•Knowledge of website design, html, search and social advertising, URL architecting, programmatic advertising, email marketing, and e-commerce
•Superior communication skills, both internal and client-facing
•Strong relationship management, organizational and project management skills
•Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal teams and business groups
•Bilingual in Spanish & English is a plus
