Become part of the startup of a dynamic team that is leading NXP on a digital transformation journey. In your role As the Sales System Architect (SSA) you will ensure maximum effectiveness of IT solutions within the Sales area, by guiding solutions to be designed and created within the Enterprise and Solution architecture. You will operate at the level of business requirements and functional designs and are responsible for architecting, designing, and, in some instances, implementing solutions for all Sales-related applications. At the same time you will be an ambassador for the Agile and DevOps way of working within our global NXP organization. There is a lot of room for new ideas and innovations and you will be supported to have a continuous focus on development, coaching and creating a supportive environment for your team.

As an SSA, you collaborate with Senior Business Process Engineers, Project Managers and architects in your own team as well as other IT teams and you own the end-to-end solution. You are responsible for conveying your architectural designs and guidelines and supporting Sr BPEs in realizing the best possible solutions to the NXP business. You balance between enforcing architectural guidelines and allowing well controlled exceptions where this is in the best interest of NXP.

You will validate the implementations to ensure the solutions are in compliance with the architecture, design and security guidelines of NXP. The architect will be current on the tools, technologies, frameworks and processes in Sales software development. They will lead, direct, guide and mentor junior members on the team – NXP badged employees as well as contractors.

Your responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and propose IT solution directions in line with the NXP enterprise architecture
  • Define high level architecture as well as detailed design for projects
  • Specify architectural requirements that provide external service providers with clear guidelines for the design and implementation phase while allowing them a proper level of flexibility in order to deliver efficient designs
  • Provide architectural oversight and ensure the design and architecture by implementation teams adhere to the solution architecture and are in compliance with the standards and guidelines of NXP
  • Collaborate with other architects on the team as well as across IT to deliver end to end solutions that are cloud ready
  • Create and maintain architectural documents for applications within the teams portfolio
  • Work with other architects on the team to define architectural roadmap and strategy for the team
  • Lead small teams of internal as well as external resources to deliver solutions
  • Must be able to read, understand and apply code when required

    The Enterprise Applications domain is primarily responsible for translating business requirements into enterprise IT applications and implementing, maintaining and supporting these applications. We have the responsibility to ensure alignment between the IT strategy and business strategy as well as alignment between information applications architecture and business requirements.

    Within Sales and Marketing IT we focus on internal and external customer applications to support the Customer journey. We collaborate with Sales Ops and other business teams daily on strategic improvements, and with vendor partners to deliver easy to use applications leveraging SaaS, cloud services and custom development where needed.

    Your profile

    To be successful in this role you have:

  • 8+ years of progressive architecture experience in Information Technology (Consultancy, Project or Development) with Enterprise Applications in the Sales and Marketing domain specifically with of the shelf solutions, modern development technologies, frameworks and architecture.
  • Deep core competence in applying IT strategically to fundamentally change an enterprise and enable a company to achieve its strategic, tactical and operational goals.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the following areas:
  • Enterprise applications: Salesforce.com, Model N, Eloqua
  • Functional areas like: Customer Relation Management, Revenue management, Channel management, Product Support, Customer Support, Sales Incentive Planning, (Customer) Master Data management
  • Portals / Communities / B2B / Application Integration
  • Business Intelligence / Analytics
  • Cloud architecture
  • Experience using Agile methodologies and familiar with tools used with these methodologies e.g. Atlassian, Rally, CollabNet, ServiceNow
  • Current knowledge of languages, tools, technologies and frameworks used to deliver state of the art, secure solutions for Sales and Marketing. Knowledge preference:
  • backend and frontend technologies
  • Continuous Integration tools and processes.
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent years of relevant experience
  • Furthermore, you are:

  • able to collaborate and partner with business and IT in defining, preparing and executing projects and change programs.
  • open to ideas from other professional teams, and able to collaborate with internal IT, External IT Service Providers and software vendor teams.
  • able to get your point across to your juniors, peers and management in IT as well as business.
  • an excellent communicator with good presentation skills and the ability to work with a geographically dispersed, multi-cultural team.

  • Contract: This is a fulltime position with a permanent contract
