JobDescription:

Responsible for thedevelopment and continued compliance of the Stroke and Sepsis Programs.Oversees implementation and adherence to established treatment protocols,policies, and regulatory compliance related to these programs.  Oversees the compliance of the HCAinitiatives and guidelines to maximize compliance with evidenced basedpractices and educational requirements for the care of patients havingStroke/Sepsis diagnosis.  Job dutiesinclude, but are not limited to:

• Collects and analyzes data in order to identifycurrent and expected needs of the stable/acute/critical patients.
• Instrumental in developing and prioritizing theplan of acre to attain measurable goals.
• Implementation of the interventions identifiedand/or prescribed, and evaluates the results.
• Assesses and recognizesacute and chronic pain in all patients to assist in alleviating suffering andimproving quality of life.

Qualifications

• FL RN Licensure, or
  Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• Ability to work well with all levels of the health care team inclusive of physicians, nurses and ancillary department management.
• Strong nursing knowledge and collaborative style of communication to facilitate the compliance of evidence practices a must.
• Ability to focus on details and possess the skills to present data and program outcomes in a committee structure.
