SCHEDULE: Full-time

Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point is a 290 bed acute care facility hospital with a long and illustrious history of providing the highest level of critical care for our community. Founded in 1981 it was the first hospital to be built in northwest Pasco County serving residents in Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus counties. It was the first hospital to deliver a comprehensive cardiac and open heart program.

And now, we have recently been approved to become Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point is also a medical teaching institution through the establishment of medical residency programs. The first group of residents started in July of 2014. This is the hospital's first step in The development of graduate medical education (GME) residency programs and is a logical progression as RMCBP the hospital continues to expand its tertiary and specialty programs..

Qualifications

 

  • Current Florida licensure as an RN.
  • Current certification as American Heart Association ACLS BLS Healthcare Provider.
  • Previous ICU required.
  • CCRN national certification desired.
  • Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.
