Seeking experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist in the beautiful Florida Keys!

Hiring during COVID-19.


Hospital and Department Information:
  • Respiratory Department has 9 available FTE
  • Our techs have to perform a vast array of treatments on adults and children - L&D is done here
  • Department has a working lead therapist and an administrative director
  • Interviewing very quickly
  • 167-bed, full service, acute care medical facility
  • Joint Commission accredited
  • Committed to the delivery of consistent quality services in a safe and fiscally responsible manner that meet the needs of patients, physicians, employees and our community


    • Job Description:

  • Shift: 7p-7a, 36 hrs /week
  • You will be assisting in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders
  • Collecting and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases
  • You will measure the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is impaired function - relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • An Associate's degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program is required
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialed by the NBRC
  • Current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP Certification required
