S/he will serve as the Research Faculty for Behavioral Health and Criminal Justice and oversee the research projects of the Institute for Justice Research and Development (IJRD). The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary faculty with expertise and interest in psychology, behavioral health, public health, and criminal justice, who engage in research and teaching of undergraduate and graduate students, and post graduate fellows. Responsible to the Executive Director of IJRD. Expected to supervise and contribute to the research underway at IJRD.Qualifications Doctorate degree (PhD) in Social Work, Psychology, or behavioral health research field. Demonstrated record of managing randomized controlled/experimental trials. Demonstrated record of achievement in securing research funding, professional writing, and research in refereed and other professional journals.Contact Info Kerensa Lockwood at klockwood@fsu.edu.Anticipated Salary Range Anticipated hiring in the $70,000 to $80,000 range, depending on experience.Pay Plan This is a Faculty position.Soft Money Funded Position This position is time-limited based on soft money funding, with renewal contingent upon available funds and the needs of the University.Schedule If not otherwise specified, schedule is M-F, 8-5.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
