LawnwoodRegional Medical Center & Heart Institute is a 380-bed acute-care hospital offeringa full range of services. Lawnwood is home to the most experienced HeartInstitute on the Treasure Coast providing interventional and therapeutic care,including open-heart surgery. Other hospital services include adult andpediatric emergency services, labor/delivery and birthing, pediatrics,orthopedics, oncology, nuclear medicine, diagnostic services, as well asinpatient and outpatient surgical services.

Lawnwood is designated by the JointCommission as a Certified Primary Stroke Center. The Physical RehabilitationCenter is CARF accredited and we are designated a Level II Trauma Center by theFlorida Department of Health and verified by the American College of Surgeons. Wealso offer a freestanding ER in Vero Beach providing emergency treatment for adultsand children closer to home. Job Description:

The Respiratory Therapist will report to the Director, provides treatment, care and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. Some notable information about the Unit:

Specialties: Trauma and Open Heart

Shifts: 7a-7p or 7p-7a w/every other weekend, 12 hour shifts

Updates:  Level III NICU

Location: St. Lucie County

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist (RRT) State Registration and Licensure.
• 1 Year RRT Acute Care Experience.
• BLS/ACLS.
• Graduate of Respiratory Care program
