Job Summary:

Provides care in the Perioperative setting directed toward meeting both the psychosocial and physical needs of the patient.  PACU RN is a resource person and teacher.  Care given reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations.  Utilizes initiative and strives to maintain steady level of productivity.  PACU RN is a self-starter.  Is compatible and supportive; and a team player.  Communicates on behalf of the patient reflects the mission, ethics and goals of the hospital, as well as the focus statement of the department Responsible for direction of patient care in the perioperative setting

Qualifications

  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions).
  • Current ACLS Certification.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Two years of experience in Perioperative setting.
  • Circulating Nurse experience required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languages preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
