Our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) consists of 12 beds: all private rooms. PCU is based on a true interdisciplinary patient care model, with a holistic healing environment approach. Our physicians are available bedside 24 hours a day, and we are staffed with a dynamic multidisciplinary team. This is a fast paced environment, and we deliver the highest level of care to our patients. We are dedicated to excellence, and we pride ourselves on the holistic care we give our patients and their family members.

Nurses on this unit are empowered to make patient care decisions, engage in the Clinical Excellence Council and self-schedule for optimal coverage. The nurse to patient ratio is 4:1. The nurse job satisfaction is above the national average.
Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing, and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with Florida Nurse Practice Act, physician's orders, recognized nursing techniques, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies.

Qualifications
Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
FL RN license and/or approved multistate license
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required
PCU Nurse with telemetry experience preferred
