Job Summary

We are looking for Registered Nurses (RN) to join our Pre-Operative and Day Stay Surgery Unit Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville Florida. This is a PRN position, where call is required. As an RN for Pre-Op and Day Stay, your responsibilities include:

Provides for patient care needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; and coordination of care provided by ancillary services.

Education of patients and their significant others to their disease process and plan of care.

Serve as patient advocate.

This Registered Nurse position supporting the Pre-Op and Day Stay Surgery Unit will be located at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, Florida. Education Required Associate's Degree - Nursing Education Preferred Bachelor's Degree - Nursing Experience

Associate of Science in Nursing

License and Certification

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Licensed Registered Nurse
