Registered Nurse ICU PRN - Loxahatchee

Description

:Provides, assists and supervises direct nursing care to patients, in accordance with physicians' orders, recognized nursing techniques, procedures, established standards and administrative policies. Utilizes the nursing process in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. The ICU at Palms West has 18 beds.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing preferred.

State of Florida RN license, or

Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)

Minimum of one year experience as ICU RN required

Current BLS and ACLS certification via American Heart Association required

Basic EKG course required/certification required or successful completion of an arrhythmia examination with a score of 85% or greater within 30 days of hire. 12 Lead Course preferred.

Intra Aortic Balloon Course mandatory or completed within two months of hire.

Additional Certifications preferred (CCRN, CEN)
