Job Summary Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services. Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Educate of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Responsibilities include knowledge of all areas of care to Gastroenterology and conscious sedation with ability to perform patient assessments pre/post procedure. Associate's Degree in Nursing Required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred Minimum 1 year Registered Nurse (RN) Experience Required 1-2 years Surgical Services or PACU Experience Preferred Medical Surgical Nursing Experience BLS and ACLS certifications Required Procedural & PACU Experience preferred 1-2 years Surgical Services Experience Medical Surgical Nursing Experience License and Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) Conscious Sedation Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Licensed Registered Nurse
