Central Florida Regional Hospital, a 221-bed acute carehospital and Level II Trauma Center, serves the communities of Seminole andwest Volusia counties. The hospital provides the only full-servicecardiovascular program in Seminole and west Volusia, including open heartsurgery, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac rehabilitationand comprehensive diagnostic services. Other specialized services includeorthopedic and spine care, robotic surgery, acute inpatient medicalrehabilitation, complete imaging services and The Baby Suites. Central FloridaRegional Hospital is located 3.6 miles east of I-4 between S.R. 46 and Highway17-92 in Sanford. The Imaging Assistant, under thesupervision of the Chief Technologist, assists the Radiographers, Radiologistsand patients of the Radiology section. Ensures the safe transport of patients to and from the Imaging Department. Acts as a courier between related units ofthe hospital. Acts as facilitator toexpedite patient exams. Is responsiblefor general department supply ordering, loading and unloading the multi-viewer,darkroom duties and generalized assistance. Performs other related duties as requested.
