Current Need
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Richmond, VA or Jacksonville, FL.

Position Description
The Product Strategy and Supplier Partnership Project Manager will be responsible for working cross functionally to lead large projects that primarily drive regulatory compliance for the organization and that interfaces with our supplier community. Other projects may be assigned based on relative importance to the business. This person must be highly organized, able to work on process development and implementation, have project management skills, and is able to lead change. This person must also be able to communicate with a broad range of constituents. The position will be charged with not only creating detailed project plans but also developing new processes or improving current processes that will cut across multiple functional areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project deliverables and outcomes. Monitors the end-to-end project and interfaces with project sponsor and stakeholders as applicable.

  • Create, coordinate and execute the detailed project plans for the project implementation;

  • Assesses project risks and issues and develops resolutions to meet project goals and objectives. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.

  • Gains cooperation of others, conducts presentations of project information concerning specific project initiatives/improvements, etc.

  • Analyzes project data and tracks / reports on project status for management team.

  • Work as an internal consultant to deliver value added solutions and results.

  • Minimum Requirements
    4+ years relevant experience

    Critical Skills

  • 2+ years’ experience managing cross-functional projects

  • 1+ years’ experience with successful implementation of process improvements

  • Advanced MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations)

  • Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Experience influencing in a cross-functional matrix environment

  • Previous Experience in Business Consulting

  • Change Management experience preferred

  • PMP preferred

  • Six Sigma experience preferred

  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus

  • Education
    4-year degree or equivalent experience
