Description

Security Project Managers provide leadership and organization for key operational and strategic security projects, which typically impact multiple divisions within the company. This project management role crosses all processes and phases of the project management lifecycle.

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for initiating, defining, managing, directing and planning concurrent and moderately complex projects, often consisting of multiple project teams for successful & timely deliveries
  • Coordinating, scheduling and assigning project tasks, promoting collaboration, maintaining working relationships with client functional areas outside of Global Security
  • Able to identify appropriate resources for definition of requirements / specifications within project scope
  • Partners with business owners, team members and other key personnel across various departments to validate requirements, create project and risk plans by analyzing business needs and understanding how to partner and prepare for technical initiative delivery and/or process change
  • Able to effectively compose a project charter and obtain agreement across multiple stakeholders
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and prioritize work requests for effective resource management
  • Must be action driven and have the ability to drive teams to deliver their goals while maintaining positive relationships 
  • Facilitate appropriate communication methods and tracking tools to ensure identification and management of risks, mitigation strategies, plan activities, dependencies, impacts, escalation channels, financial budget and detailed project documentation
  • Ensure projects meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction expectations, partner with stakeholders to resolve project issues as needed
  • Manage Statement of Work (3rd party vendor) through project lifecycle to ensure all contracted deliverables have been achieved
  • Responsible for overseeing and consolidating overall project status reporting to leadership
  • Must maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information 

    • Required Qualifications/Skills: 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Project Management or Team Management
  • Has a strong background and understanding of managing technology and operational projects and initiatives
  • 3-5 years’ experience in successfully leading and managing multiple small to medium size key technical, operational and strategic business projects, with varying complexity and moderate impact.
  • Working knowledge of project management lifecycle, tools and techniques. 
  • Must have working knowledge of Google or Microsoft o365 collaboration/productivity suite

    • Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Technical project management background and experience
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Business analysis methodologies and experience
  • Software development lifecycle and/or technical/infrastructure planning, monitoring and controlling
  • Application deployment & information systems planning
  • Experience with Microsoft o365 collaboration tools

    • Education/Certification/License:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or combination of education and experience in a business discipline (HR, Project Management, Software Development) and training
  • Project Management Certification preferred (PMP).
