Inorder to meet the needs of our ever-growing community we are a designated LevelII Trauma Center and have broken ground on a $75.6M expansion project toincrease emergency room capacity and bring a new patient tower and parkinggarage to Aventura Hospital and Medical Center.

Provides assistance topatients, families, and significant others to enable them to deal with thepsychosocial issues that impact mental illness and to maximize benefits fromhealth care services. This position includes psychosocial assessment, treatmentplanning as a member of multi-disciplinary treatment team, the provision ofeducation and psychotherapy, referrals to appropriate community resources, andnetworking with community services providers. 

Qualifications

• MastersDegree in Human Services Field
• Oneyear experience providing services to patients with major mental illnesses
• BLSCertification
• CPI(Crisis Prevention Intervention) Certification Required within 30 days afterhire
• LicensedClinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed MentalHealth Counselor preferred.
