Program Manager – Peer Insights

Fort Myers, FL

Role:

Our mission is to transform the way enterprise software is bought and sold by creating the industry standard for reviews and ratings. Since starting Gartner Peer Insights in October 2015, we’ve collected over 300,000 verified reviews from enterprise end-users and are looking for a Program Manager to join a dynamic team who manage the relationship with vendors working with the Peer Insights Program. 

Strategically connecting with C-suite level marketing executives to develop engagement plans for review sourcing, marketing and sales engagement. Support the sales of High-Tech Products and Services through vendor engagements, while being responsible for our commercial success in a lean startup at an established brand.

Responsibilities:

  • This role requires a curious discovery mindset; ask the right questions, collect the relevant data points and connect conceptual inputs
  • Proactive outreach and manage technology providers with products in Peer Insights in order to ensure maximum value achieved through program defined activities.
  • Identify, codify, and publish best practices for vendor review sourcing efforts
  • Support and train sales and sales support for Peer Insights product-based opportunities
  • Attend events to strategically engage with vendors for program engagement
  • Analyze performance metrics and effectively present data to stakeholders
  • Collect feedback from tech providers, sales, and service associates on Peer Insights and feed insights back to the product team
  • Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., service, sales, or community management)
  • Degree or equivalent level certification in a relevant field
  • Ability to iterate and change quickly while delivering consistent external communication
  • Critical thinking while speaking with clients and being able to match their vision to the value proposition for the program.
  • High personal motivation, self-management, and detail-orientation; ability to take responsibility in meeting deadlines and making progress without direct supervision
  • Articulate and tactful communications skills; readiness to meet and work directly with external resources. Organize and communicate information clearly.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests concurrently. Plan and prioritize daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • Work independently to meet individual performance goals
  • Strong existing computer skills with Microsoft Office software, and general Internet and electronic communications.
  • Strong team player, while also using own initiative when appropriate
  • Experience with online meeting tools advantageous (WebEx, GotoMeeting etc.)
  • Motivation to engage and manage a wide range requests
  • Proven track record of discovery problem solving skills and ability to use analytical mindset
