    Job Description

    Your Career

    This Consultant position is an integral part of our mission within our Professional Services team. In this role, you will work on-site with our customer(s) supporting our mission to help them quickly and completely adopt our Security Operating Platform, leaving them more secure. This is a highly technical, hands-on role and you will develop and maintain expertise level skillsets on our products and solutions deployed within the customer's environment.

    Cortex XSOAR orchestration enables security teams to ingest alerts across sources and execute standardized, automatable playbooks for accelerated incident response.

    Your Impact

  • Assist customers with their Incident Response efforts leveraging Cortex XSOAR for Security Orchestration Automation and Response
  • Learn & understand the customer’s business requirements and the threat landscape that is most applicable to their industry’s vertical sector
  • Lead Cortex XSOAR technical implementation/operations in a customer environment 
  • Interact with Security and IT technologies relating to customer environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively in crisis situations with all levels of an organization from Engineering/Operations to CIO/CISO audiences
  • Ability to create documentation for Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSOAR playbooks 
  • Ability to refine and translate complex requirements and execute best practice solutions 
  • Ability to lead a team 
  • Other tasks and duties as needed to support the customer and/or business relating to Cortex XSOAR
  • This position can sit anywhere in the Central Time zone with the expectation to travel within the region
  • Qualifications

    Your Experience

  • Experience in Python and/or Javascript 
  • Experience managing complex security solutions in large environments
  • Strong understanding of Linux or Unix, network troubleshooting analysis and current security threats
  • Experience in cybersecurity incident response
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, protocols and applications
  • Detailed technical experience in the installation, configuration, and operation of high-end security solutions
  • Experience with IDS/IPS, SEIM, Endpoint solutions and technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • GCIA, CISSP, and/or DevOps certifications is a plus
  • Up to 25-40% travel may be required (post-COVID)

    Este puesto de consultor es parte integral de nuestra misión dentro del equipo de servicios
    profesionales. En esta función, trabajará en las instalaciones con nuestros clientes para apoyar nuestra misión de ayudarles a que puedan adoptar de manera rápida y completa nuestra plataforma operativa de seguridad, para que cuenten con mayor protección. Se trata de una función altamente técnica y práctica, donde deberá desarrollar y mantener conocimientos de nivel experto sobre nuestros productos y soluciones que se implementen dentro del entorno del cliente.

    La orquestación de Cortex XSOAR permite que los equipos de seguridad asimilen alertas entre distintas fuentes y ejecuten guías de escenarios estandarizadas y automatizadas para una respuesta ante incidentes acelerada.


    Su impacto
    ● Ayudar a los clientes en sus esfuerzos de respuesta ante incidentes aprovechando las
    funcionalidades de Cortex XSOAR para automatización y respuesta de orquestación de
    seguridad
    ● Aprender y comprender los requisitos comerciales del cliente y el panorama de amenazas
    más aplicable al sector vertical de su industria
    ● Liderar la implementación y las operaciones técnicas de Cortex XSOAR en un entorno
    del cliente
    ● Interactuar con tecnologías de seguridad y TI relacionadas con el entorno del cliente
    ● Mostrar capacidad para comunicarse de forma efectiva en situaciones de crisis con todos
    los niveles de una organización, desde ingeniería/operaciones hasta audiencias de
    CIO/CISO
    ● Mostrar capacidad para crear documentación relacionada con las guías de escenarios de
    Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSOAR
    ● Mostrar capacidad para refinar y traducir requisitos complejos y ejecutar soluciones de
    acuerdo con prácticas recomendadas
    ●Mostrar capacidad para liderar un equipo

    ●Otras tareas y obligaciones según sean necesarias para asistir al cliente y/o a la empresa
    en relación con Cortex XSOAR
    ●Este puesto puede situarse en cualquier lugar de la Zona horaria del centro, con
    expectativas de viaje dentro de la región
    Requisitos
    Su experiencia
    ●Experiencia en Python y/o Javascript
    ●Experiencia en la administración de soluciones de seguridad complejas en entornos
    grandes
    ●Sólidos conocimientos de Linux o Unix, análisis de soluciones de problemas de red y
    amenazas de seguridad actuales
    ●Experiencia en respuesta ante incidentes de ciberseguridad
    ●Sólidos conocimientos de tecnologías, protocolos y aplicaciones de ciberseguridad
    ●Experiencia técnica detallada en la instalación, la configuración y la operación de
    soluciones de seguridad de alto nivel
    ●Experiencia con IDS/IPS, SEIM y soluciones y tecnologías para endpoints
    ●Excelentes capacidades de comunicación escrita y oral
    ●Las certificaciones en GCIA, CISSP y/o DevOps se valorarán especialmente
    ●Puede requerirse entre un 25 y un 40 % de viajes (después de la COVID)
